24.01.2022 Hi Everyone, as you all know we are now at the super busy period of the year if you wish to use the lasers / CNC / 3d printers use the on line booking system ( please don't overbook ) the booking system is transparent for all to see if you overbook and don't turn up for your session this is not fair on your fellow classmates. Cancel your booking!! or talk to each other, share with a friend.If you can't work it out then see the workshop staff and we will try and find you a session. Please allow yourself more time for workshop questions, if you are unsure your design might not work please ask us early , don't leave it to the day of your booking.

22.01.2022 Welcome Back 2014 Feels like we are going to have a massive year in the UQ Architecture Workshop. So if you want to get creative and hands on in the workshop it might pay to get in early and book in for inductions and competency assessments sooner rather than later. ... We are taking bookings in groups of 7. with 4, 1hour slots per day for the first 5 weeks of semester 1 You can book everyday between 1 - 2pm just come down to the workshop and write your name into the bookings book. 09.01.2022 Here's a model of the towers of the Notre Dame de Reims Cathedral at 1:700 scale. Printed using the Faculty Workshop Group's Selective Laser Sinter machine located in the Hawken workshop. If you would like your building modeled at a small scale in high detail then have a word with the staff in room 50-S107 or email [email protected]. Material cost depends on the volume of the model - As an idea of price, this model would cost you about $17.
