19.01.2022 So I built a new ramp ad step, fitted fascia boards and guttering to a shed built by "builders". They used indoor flooring for an outdoor ramp(that rotted out), there were no steps and built It way too steep with NO GUTTER to boot. The frame is galvanised inch box with marine ply sheeting, the step is clad with merbau.

13.01.2022 Call came in today, double axle flat bed trailer with some cracked welds AND THE FRAME TOO!!! Hoo boy, its been a while since Ive seen one as bad as this and the trailer needs to go back to queensland! Whats the scrap price for steel again?... Nah, sod that, lets fix it. So, fixing cracked welds is a tricky, time consuming and laborious process, but there are cases where its worth it. I had to chase all the cracks, drill them out at both ends, V(groove out with a grinder) all the cracks themselves, then weld them up and grind them flat for the stiffening plates which were then welded directly to the frame to take the stress away from the fatigued(mechanically) and stressed(from the weld repairs to the cracks) areas. Finish that all off with a coat of zinc primer and itss good to go back to QLD where itll hopefully get the TLC it needs. A lot of work, but its still chaper than buying a new one! Yeah I know, I couldnt help throwing in a shameless selfie....

12.01.2022 The last few weeks in pictures, unfortunately I'm a bit rubbish at getting the after photos. First two pictures are a custom wheel barrow carrier for an asphalt contractor. Third and fifth pictures are an ongoing renovating job, currently at the flooring stage.... Fourth picture is a restoration and paint job carried out on a couple of doors, somehow I didn't grab after pics! The last picture is some finishing off work done on a tiny house, a bit of copper work, some caulking and trim fitting.

08.01.2022 Last week in photos, gate repair replacing failed hinges/dragging due to excessive weight and loosened posts. Custom modifications to a camping trailer including fitting a rear hitch for a fold up tail gate and tool box mounts on the a frame.

08.01.2022 Well its been a while since i posted any updates, heres some recent projects I didnt get around to making an update for. Theres a custom aluminum Fab job for a ute to store some temporary pit fencing. The fixing of what can only be described as nightmare of a ute cage(spoiler alert, we fixed it and gave it legs), sadly I didnt take any after photos.... Repairing a small motorcycle trailer suffering from weld failure/metal fatigue. A custom tv bracket made for and installed by RJT Electrical & Data Solutions 0413987081 And last but definitely not least the repair of a red gum log splitter which mangled itself whilst splitting red gum of all things. 03.01.2022 3000l. stainless steel industrial mixer producing fruit juices, due to a design flaw, this unit essentially tore itself a new one. Was contacted at short notice by the customer who urgently needed their machine operating again, problem solved same day! Emergency on site repairs, can do!

01.01.2022 Ride on mower hit a steel bar, blade housing torn clean out of the frame, mounting flange warped in 3 different directions, welds cracked all over it. Write off, right? NAH! Fixed it and all the other cracked welds. Saved the client thousands on a new mower.
