22.01.2022 DON’T BE PART OF THE 50%! Almost half of eligible Australians over the age of 18 years do not have a Will. If you die without a Will in Queensland the distribution of the estate occurs under the Succession Act 1981. The order of distribution under the Act is fixed so that assets may be distributed to people that you do not want or may not need to receive a benefit.... In all cases it is better to have a Will which clearly specifies your intent as to your estate asset distribution. It is the best way to ensure your estate is distributed to those you would wish to benefit. DON’T BE PART OF THE 50%!
