22.01.2022 Important announcement - Changes to CCS Changes to the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) have been announced by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training. The two changes are:... From 10 December 2021 the annual cap will be removed for all families who receive CCS, and from 7 March 2022, families who have more than one child in care will receive a higher subsidy. What do you need to do? If you are already receiving CCS you won’t need to do anything. The changes will automatically increase the CCS for eligible second & younger children. f you are a new family to CCS, your child must receive a session of care before they are considered the standard rate child. 18.01.2022 Bug, bugs and more bugs! Last week, we noticed the children had a growing interest in finding bugs in the garden. Miss Lauren decided to extend on this interest by hiding some bugs in some playdough for the children to dig through. The toddlers also enjoyed craft with the bugs, stamping them in the paint and then on the page. It was a little tricky at times using our fine motor skills and hand eye coordination to catch our magnet fish. 13.01.2022 Pineapple Jelly Playdough We explored playdough which was made with pineapple flavoured jelly. This was a fun sensory experience as the children enjoyed squishing the super soft playdough which also had a tropical scent to it.
