24.01.2022 St Barnabas Hospital is a 40-bed hospital built in the 1940s in the Anglican Mission Station at Dogura, PNG. Women and their children travel on foot up to 12 days - to give birth or receive urgent health care. People in Dogura rely on subsistence farming and are very poor. After the Australian government left in 1975, they have no money to make repairs to the hospital building. https://ardfa.org.au/png-womens-childrens-hospital.

21.01.2022 Under the worst-case scenario Covid-19 will push the poverty rate in Indonesia to 16.6%. That is, 19.7 million more people will become poor. Partnering with All Saints Jakarta, ARDFA is supporting the introduction of income generating/sustainable programs to support vulnerable communities affected by Covid-19. $200 can give a community a hydroponic system to grow vegetables (to use and to sell). https://ardfa.org.au/gifts. $450 will allow the installation of a fish farm & hydroponic system

09.01.2022 Why ARDFA? https://ardfa.org.au/about

07.01.2022 Just like the 'hardworking farmer' referenced in 1 Tim 2, these Karen refugees work tirelessly for crops that only result from enduring work and reliance on God. Refugees as a result of a 60-year civil war, these Karen Christians, aided by Anglican Relief and Development Fund Australia, are trying to lift their village out of extreme poverty through this community farming enterprise. We bought them the land, seeds and fertilisers. They supply the daily labour, eagerly waiting for that first harvest. Join us in enabling and supporting this community. https://ardfa.org.au/myanmar-plantation

06.01.2022 It has been 4 months since we lost my cousin, his wife and their 4 children and several other people all massacred with knives... I thank the Lord because I and my children were not touched and by divine grace we find ourselves here in Beni. We say thank you to the Anglican Christians who welcomed us and ask other benefactors to help us because life has become very difficult for us and we continue to live by the grace of God. All we ask for is peace, nothing but peace that will allow us to come back to our fields and live as before" Marie Jeanne Kahindo, aged 29, mother of 6 children, Beni, DRC. https://ardfa.org.au/drc-emergency.
