21.01.2022 Ohh, our hearts filled for some of our Ardlair team who joined their SA counterparts at the SASCHDI 60th year anniversary competition - first competitive event held in Highland Dancing in Soith Australia since November 2019! It was a pleasure to see our dancers back on stage - new dances, changes in costumes, some usual, yet unfamiliar feelings, but a day charged with laughs, great attitudes, and some fabulous Ardlair team spirit! Thank you to Amelie, Tilly, Aidan and Sarah ...for your support of the competition and also of our Ardlair dancers while I had competition organization responsibilities to support SASCHDI through the day. Thank you to all of our ardlair families for your sharing this day with your dancers. I was so very proud of all of you watching you dance, watching you gracious with your great results, and also for your behaviour and attitude amongst your team mates and new dancing friends. Miss Lisa. Xoxo

18.01.2022 It has been a real privilege to see Highland Dancing embraced and celebrated front and centre with so many other dance forms in Pariya Ziakas Art project in Ripley Arcade, Mount Gambier! What a fantastic recognition of our dance form as well as such an inspiration for future Highland dancers to see it shown so beautifully in a public space in the middle of Mount Gambier, South Australia. Ardlair was very proud to support this project and extends our warmest congratulations to Pariya and her team for the process and end result.

14.01.2022 Ardlair’s sunlight sisters Bec and Kellie - dancing #bluebonnetsforthebanks with #misterjosh, the International Highland Dancing Festival of Australia, and the entire Highland dancing community. From the heart of our school directly with love to your heart. Much love Mr and Mrs Banks. Xoxo

10.01.2022 Ardlair sends their love and light to Mr and Mrs Banks and their families. We will be supporting Mr Josh and the Internationals to share the goFundMe link to bring their family together and to dance the Blue Bonnets in solidarity with the Highland community for them tomorrow at 5pm AEST. If you have any capacity to support the Banks family, please click the link, and share with your friends.

10.01.2022 Looking for a way to have some fun while you exercise? There isn't a better way than Highland Hustle! You won't find a more lovely bunch to groove away with... all ages and fitness levels, you will LOVE how Priscilla makes sure there is something for everyone. Monday 5:45pm, Old Laundry Hay Rd, Mt Gambier.

08.01.2022 We are so very proud of our Ardlair dancers who have been working hard this past few months and blossomed so beautifully on their exam day! Thank you to VSDA Examiner Leonie Burgess OAM for her kind application of her vast knowledge and love of Highland Dance, our dancers were enthusiastic to enter the examining room and all came out proud, relieved and excited following each exam. It was an utter heart explosion to see how keen our Wee Ones were to complete their first exam... - congratulations Darcy, Hannah, Isla and Jané, you are all just so beautiful! Well done and much love to Amali for completing her Elementary Highland exam, and Aidan and Rachael for smashing out your Junior Hornpipe. Your growing knowledge and expertise with high level understanding is such a pleasure to see. A million loves also to our fabulous group of senior dancers who have been working together in our ‘teaching class’ most of the year, thanks to the time that we suddenly had due to COVID-19 restrictions on our usual activities throughout the year. We have laughed, argued, debated, had epiphanies, light bulbs, and even the odd tear, but I don’t think I could be any more proud of what you have learned, what you understand, and the way you are applying this to your own dancing as well as in your support of others. I knew only a sliver of what you all do at your age, and this is truly on the path of realization of my own goal to support and encourage dancers who stand on my shoulders to be, know and achieve even more than I have in my dancing life. Congratulations to Amelie and Tilly for the completion of your Gold Medal exam - Am, only two months from your surgery, what an achievement! - Kellie for your Gold Bar exam, and extra fist pump for Keeley who did both Gold Medal and Gold Bar. Thank you and well done to Bec and Lixin also for your contributions to our teaching class over the past few months. Miss Lisa. xoxo

04.01.2022 Merry Christmas from all of us at Ardlair! Our end of year party was a delight where we had most of our dancers and families together - for the first time - in 2020. Thanks to our fabulous Priscilla, we had a whole school scavenger hunt which was a lovely opportunity for our dancers to spend time together across our 2020 small team groups. ... Congratulations to our Tilly who was awarded the Ardlair Team Member of the Year. Many of our members were recognized in the team voting and it was such a pleasure to share some of the special reasons each individual makes Ardlair such a lovely place to be. Well done Til, you are a quiet inspiring leader in our school and it was a pleasure to see you recognised. Much love to everyone who enjoyed our day and also to our members who were unable to make it. Hopefully we can have many more chances to be together in 2021.

03.01.2022 Ardlair’s Amelie, Tilly, Aidan and Isla dancing #bluebonnetsforthebanks in solidarity with #misterjosh, the International Highland Dancing Festival of Australia, and the entire Highland Dancing community. Things were going so beautifully and then a bit of drama and laughter at the end.... we were going to re-film but thought Mr and Mrs Banks would like the giggle that we had also. Much love. Xoxo

01.01.2022 Finally.... someone appreciates what we do!
