23.01.2022 YEAR 12 FAREWELL Congratulations to our talented Year 12 students, who enjoyed their final day of school today. Jordan, Amy, Hannah and Ben delighted us with their muck-up day shenanigans, brought us to tears during the graduation ceremony and had us laughing during the Teachers vs Students Trivia Game. They have been wonderful students of ACS and will be truly missed.... 'Be Bold, Be Courageous, Be Your Best!'

21.01.2022 NAIDOC WEEK - 'ALWAYS WAS, ALWAYS WILL BE' The theme for NAIDOC Week (8 15 November) this year is ‘Always Was, Always Will Be’. This is an important opportunity to reflect and celebrate the history, culture and achievements of First Nation peoples recognising Australia’s Traditional Custodians. Ardlethan is in the Wiradjuri Nation.... The Riverina sits within Wiradjuri Nation, the largest indigenous areas in New South Wales. Known as the people of three rivers, the Wiradjuri people have deep connections with the Murrumbidgee River, the Lachlan River and the Macquarie River. Acknowledgement of Country - The Riverina recognises the Wiradjuri people, who are the traditional custodians of these lands. We pay respect to the Wiradjuri people both past and present, and recognise the culture, strength, resilience and capacity of the Wiradjuri people. We also acknowledge the contributions of Aboriginal Australians to this country we all live in and share together.

03.01.2022 RESPECT & KINDNESS: PBL FOCUS - WEEK 9 & 10, TERM 3 This fortnight's PBL focus continues on with showing kindness from last fortnight. The students were shown a clip in assembly around the idea of everyone having an invisible bucket and by showing kindness this bucket gets filled up - yours and the other person's. The opposite, however, is being a bucket dipper. A bucket dipper is the person who doesn't show kindness and takes from other people's buckets. Here is the link to the clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B4O7qIG3Fog
