21.01.2022 Today we have Oyashio going around in Gladstone race 2. He is first up after a 6 week break. Unfortunately it is a non tab meeting but you can watch him on On The Bit. If he handles the dirt track he should be very hard to beat.

20.01.2022 We have shares available in Czechoslovakia! He is by Group 1 winner Reliable Man who is also the sire of VRC Oaks winner Miami Bound. He is out of Lumir who is the half-sister to the champion Mahogany. This horse has placed 12 times from 25 starts including 3 wins. Czechoslovakia started his career in NZ where placed 3rd in Listed Otago Guineas and place 4th only beaten 0.7 in the Group 2 Wellington Guineas. His owners moved the horse to Australia in 2018 where he was very c...ompetitive in Victoria with T Busuttin & N Young. Then in 2020 they moved him to NSW to where he also won. This flashy grey gelding can sprint fresh and stay later and is ideally suited from 1400m to 2000m. We are going to start this horse in our Brisbane Stables and then move him to regional Qld for the Winter Carnivals. Shares in this horse are (gst incl): 10% - $2990 5% - $1495 2.5% - $747.5 Approximate training fees for 5%: $175p/m when in full work and $50 p/m when spelling.

12.01.2022 Nice for the stable to have two more cracking 2yos in action for us. This morning we had our Sebring filly (La Fortuna) have her first bit of work in Qld with our Whittington Filly, Chyna. They are looking great!

11.01.2022 Today we have 3 runners in Yeppoon! Adrian has: Race 1 - Poetic Final Say with Zoe White onboard. He is first up today, is going well and will definitely benefit from the run. His main goal is the big sales race in Rockhampton on Oct 17th. ... Race 6 - Alsaurusfirst with Manu onboard. He has trialled really well coming into this and should be in it for a long way. Fingers crossed he can hold on. Chris has: Race 3 - Regal Reece with Manu also onboard. Reecy is back from some time off not feeling the best and Chris and Nick Walsh have done a great job to get him back to feeling great today. This is probably going to be his last campaign before he retires so it would be great for him to win for the owners. Good luck team..

09.01.2022 We are excited to announce that Adrian Coome Racing is joining Ares Racing. Adrian brings a wealth of experience, being seven times Rockhampton Jockey Premiership winner and multiple Qld Provincial Jockey Premiership winner. Another feather in his jockey cap was winning the Rockhampton and Townsville Cups three times. In only his first full year as a horse trainer Adrian also won the Rockhampton Trainer's Premiership in 2020. Adrian Coome together with Chris Attard will be our head trainers at the Ares Racing stables. They will have approximately 70 racehorses to train and race throughout Queensland.

08.01.2022 Last race day of the year. Rockhampton Race 3 - Kings County - Drawn well, strips fitter will run well but still might need another 100m to see him at his best. ... Race 4 - Magnate - Second start for us, will be right in the finish but still not 100% where we want him physically. Race 6 Forza - Strips fitter, crying out for more rain, if it comes it will grow a leg. A Girl Like Alice - Good win first up, but will need to rise up in class today. Fight The Knead - Has a terrible gate, we will have to ride her cold and hope she can get to the line. She is a lot fitter today and a more suitable distance. Havannah Sunset - Racing well gets her chance to hit back today. Good luck today friends!

08.01.2022 We have shares available in this cracking 2 Year - Old Chestnut by Swear for only $1100 for 5%. All the hard work has been done, he has been broken in, gelded and pre-trained. He will be in our Queensland stable in just a couple of weeks. Swear (by Redoute’s Choice) won as a 2yo, and won the group 3 Ming Dynasty at 3, he also ran 3rd in the Group 1 Spring Champion Stakes and 5th in the Group 1 Derby. He is out of a Dehere mare in Mariners Joy that has had 2 to race for 2 winn...ers. His 3rd dam is the Champion Broodmare Joie Denise, who is the dam of Tuesday Joy, Sunday Joy, Mary Marvel (More Joyous, Fenway, Don’t Tell Mamma). 02.01.2022 Todays Runner's in Rockhampton. Race 3 - Cavellton - Has come back in great form, has trained on well from his first start. Should run very well. Race 5 - She's Imperial - was disappointing second up, but we think she can bounce back and run well for us today. Each way.... Race 6 - We have 3 runners and good chances. Vogue Rock - Was very good last start, is up in class but we think should be right in the mix. Havannah Sunset - Was very impressive winning her maiden, is up in grade but still nice each way odds. What a Thought - Resumes from a break, has been looking great in trackwork. Is a top 5 chance at good odds. Race 7 - Hurricane Fighter - Had no luck first up trapped wide and pulled too hard. He needs to relax today, snag in behind them and have the last crack at them. Might be a bit short for him, but very nice odds to find out. Forza - Is first up, we think it will be too short for him. Will improve from the run. Race 8 - Poetic Pete - Nice win last start, a bit of rain would be ideal. But is nice each way odds. Good luck team!
