25.01.2022 No rest for the barra conversions at Argyle. So happy and proud of what we achieved to convert a 2000 model jeep into a ford barra was no small feat. With the right planning and great team we fired the Stock FG ECU and ZF gearbox tonight. Stock fuel tank , jeep fuel sender with a walbro 460 e85 ready. Big thank you to Stel of @st performance and wiring for his awesome work wiring this ford ecu into a jeep and making it work. Another thank you fo Stasi of BBSfab and Performance pty ltd for shoe horning the barra into this jeep. Amazing feeling for our loyal customer @Moey Hammoudd . 24.01.2022 Very humbled by the custoners who are entrusting me and our team to prepare and build their ford barras. Two very different requirments for two customers both of which had very successful outcomes thanks to our amazing collaboration with Glen and Grant @esp_racing . Katherines F6 is a manual car which sees weekend duties and some track time, we upgraded the engine with simple mods such as oil pump gears, valve springs and retainers , injectors, head studs, @plazmamanracing co...oler and fuel setup, @precisionturbo upgraded turbo, @6boost manifold. Her requirment was to have dual tunes via the pcmtec software one for pump fuel which made 398rwkw and then the switch to the preferred e85 where it made 502rwkw on 16.5psi. Needless to say Katherine was very happy. Next was Moussa and his daily driven fg xr6 turbo a new factory ford turbo off an fgx and exahust upgrades together with upgraded injectors this completly stock engine made 302rwkw and maxed out the factory actuator at 16psi all on pump fuel. I cant thank Grant and Glen enough for the service to our customers , professional care factor, their explaination and knowledge they were happy to share with our customers. 23.01.2022 As most will know the power of the Australian Built Barra 4.0L turbo engine is amazing. With that in mind and various of our barra projects achieving high horsepower it was only natural that we attempt to shoe horn a barra inside this 2000 model Jeep Wrangler for our customer Mohammad. With this in mind we engaged the services of Starsy from BBSfab and Performance pty ltd to complete the engineering and install of the engine with custom engine mounts , body adjustments and f...actory FG intercooler. With the engine shoe horned in the engine bay we spent time to ensure that all the factory items were installed and what we understand to be an Autralian first the ZF gearbox from an FG Xr6 turbo . The most intricate part was integrating the factory ECU and gear box controlls into the Jeep wiring. For this we employed the services of Stel of ST Performance & Wiring who spent numerous hours ensuring that the Jeep body worked with the Ford heart. With joy the car started and drove. From there it was a planned trip to Extreme street performance for Grant and Glen who completed the tuning for project Fgx we built for TheJet275 to work their magic and tune and claibrate the Ford heartbeat to make some fun power reliably. The completely stock barra engine and almost factory exhaust and turbo made an impressive 285kw and maxed out the factory turbo at 13.7 PSi. The car will continue to be developed and with each upgrade we increase the saftey and durability of the engine. We hope you enjoy some videos and there will be a detailed build post to come. 15.01.2022 Well another day, another barra getting closer to hitting the streets from our humble workshop. Fabrication work completed today thank you to Stasi of BBSfab and Performance pty ltd intercooler, pipes, radiator , exhaust , gearbox cross member , engine mounts. The car ia now fitted with the ZF gearbox and factory shifter and pedal will be installed this week. Next step wiring and fuel set-up completion and then off to Extreme street performance for Glen to work his magic. Might bave to line up Project FGX . 05.01.2022 Whilst we are on the Barra theme let us introduce LOCO6T. This 2008 FG Xr6 Turbo Ute came to us in total stock form with the direction from our long-time customer Sheeba of turning this every day work ute into a split personality capable of quick times at Sydney Dragway or Powercruise while still heading to the work site. Upgrades include a plazmaman.com Intercooler , with custom fabricated intercooler pipes by Starsy at BBSfab and Performance pty ltd. Utilising a CRG Exhaus...t manifold a new turbo was sourced from Tuners Edge and we went with the GTX4202r turbo with 1.01 rear housing. With a custom exhaust system from start to finish by Steve from Unique Mufflers this was followed by an upgraded cometic head gasket, head studs, valve springs, oil pump gears, upgraded flex plate with upgraded flex plate bolts this enabled the stock bottom end Barra 4.0L to be able to withstand some spirited driving to say the least. After running the standard ZF gear box and having a failure at the 1000 foot mark while rolling through at 128 MPH the decision was made to replace the ZF with a T400 gear box and converter combination to suit. Once fitted the car joined the road trip off to Extreme street performance for Grant and Glen to remap the standard ECU with PCMTEC software and multi-tune modes whilst on e85 full time now, the e-boost was removed and 3 port mach valve added to enable the boost control to all be done from the ECU. The results were a super strong 733HP on 25Psi on the roller Dyno. We are looking forward to seeing this amazing ute hit the race tracks when the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.

04.01.2022 Ladies and Gents the world as we know it is changing by the hour. This afternoon after delivering some radial freedom gear to a long time friend we sat on oppos...ite sides of the fence for the first time. I then drove my wife and child (first time out of the house this week for them) to see uncle @Peter Pelekis owner and founder of Archies Flame Grillé the shop was shut to the public, people we were forced to line up 4 square meters apart and the takeaway window was the only contact . I want everyone to understand that everyone including me is being affected by the economy. People are scared , people are loosing their money every day and we have to support eachother more than ever. There is no room for ego here. If you have saved the spare change over the years support wherever you can. I will do my bit to help those I can while I can. We purchased more burgers than we needed but Pete has a family and staff and every small business is in the same boat. My radial family I am working behind the scenes on the next episode I think we need it and we need it more than ever to help keep people afloat. 04.01.2022 So I was on day release today first time in a week I have done something for myself on over a week it's been full on . I was lucky to have Stel of ST Performanc...e & Wiring install the programmable fan controller and pull fan supplied by @Golbeys Parts for my transmission cooler for my Monsta Torque ZF gear box. Stel also wired up some more elements and a twin OBD patch harness so we can have the MoTeC and PCMTEC plugged in at the same time. @youssef from Argyle Automotive installed the temp sensors and fittings from Rocket Industries youssef also created a custom shroud on the side of the cooler to help with air direction.
