25.01.2022 Happy Birthday to Kolbeach Holly’s Star (UK)(Yealnad Nemesis x Carmargue Hollys Gem) 21 this week. What a super star broodmare you have been - dam of Holly’s Galaxy, Holly’s Shine, Argyl Star Attraction, Argyl Star Quality, Argyl Diamond - a filly foal at foot this year and four more yet to be seen at a show.

25.01.2022 Wonderful to see Argyl Tango in the night ( Fernleigh Fine Print x Kolbeach Song) win champion newcomer RPSBS today at Barastoc. Well done to all Bianca Schewtschenko-Bywater who took him on from a video taken in the paddock. He is a full brother to Kolbeach Bells and Argyl Chorister. Great work. Thank you for flying our flag.

24.01.2022 Canberra Royal and SHC Vic Battle of the Borders show 2020. Wonderful start to the interstate trip attending the friendly and well run Battle of the Borders show. Saturday was all about the kids. Maison and Earlsley Park Bo Peep won the open lead rein and were runners up in the first ridden- only to take out the Surpeme Mini of show ( probably made a little less stressful if parents read program and knew the class was on - before pony was partially unplaited and handler/rid...ers undressed- anyway- rallied and got back in the ring) - for a foot perfect workout to take out the class. Fletcher rode Kilpara Park Giggles to runner-up in the Shetland lead rein class. To say he was stoked would be an understatement. Sunday saw Argyl Melody score a top ten in the open pony class and Julie Payne ‘s Roxleigh Frederica put together another wonderful workout for a win in the over 16hh hunter hack class. The show saw large classes that ran to timetable with great grounds and work areas. Off to Canberra - and if you want value for money get a small pony ! Maison rode her pony Earlsley Park Bo Peep beautifully all week ( class every day from Wednesday- Sunday) for a 2nd in the novice, and third in both the open and mare class, a lead rein win and a second in the child’s pony class - topped of a great show. Maison showed Giggles in both the led and ridden Shetland classes for placings in both classes. Not to be outdone by the kids - Roxleigh Frederica took out her second royal show in hand champion and topped off the show by winning her open Hunter 16-16.2 and taking our reserve champion hunter - ridden by Charlie Hunt. The timetable made it tight to get into all classes - but despite this Argyl Melody worked quite well for third in her novice pony class and a place in the ridden riding pony. Andrea Merry’s Splash Dance made the trip with us and placed in both his open and child’s hunter classes and maintained his unbeaten at Royal show record with Maison and took out the hunter lead rein. Maison rode very well in her rider class for a lovely 2nd place but managed to talk mum into the parent and child rider class for a win! And - yes every family has to do it (once) the Fancy Dress class!! Frozen 2 eat your heart out. Thanks to those that help at home while we are away - Evan Hunt ( mum and dad). Roger East your guidance and tuition is invaluable. All our horses are shown in DQ Bridles PrydesPryde's EasiFeed, interpath ( Forcyte joint supplements) and evolution equine ( inside/out) for your continued support.

24.01.2022 Argyl Diamond made her dressage debut today at Southern Vales - winning one test with a 68% and second in her other - was lovely to be able to take her out to something. Her team mate Roxleigh Frederica ( owned by Julie Payne) was consistent as ever with two second placings with nice scores. Thanks to Roger East and his excellent grounding for our horses and riders ( kids and adults alike). Thanks also to our feed sponsor Prydes Easifeed and joint health partner 4cyte (Interpath). Charlie Hunt.

23.01.2022 Thank you to the RPSBS for running the online foal show. Major sponsors were Astral Park, DQ Saddlery and the Victorian RPSBS committee. We appreciate your support. Thankyou also to the international judges Dianne Nicholson (UK) and Annabelle Hampton (NZ) for your input. Supreme champion was Argyl Sapphire. The 2019 filly out of Kolbeach Holly’s Star (UK) x Fernleigh Fine Print.

23.01.2022 A busy weekend for us at the SHC-SA HOTY. With some of the show team already GN qualified is was a weekend for concentrating on the youngsters - both four and two legged varieties! Champion New comer Show horse not exceeding 12.2 was won by Maison’s new lead rein pony Earlsley Park Bo Peep (Bradmore Toy Soldier (imp) x Earlsley Park Heiress) , she also won the show pony lead rein and open pony not exceeding 12.2. Amazing to think she has qualified for both the EA national...s and GN at her first shows. Champion new comer large pony was Argyl Melody (Fernleigh Fine Print x Kolbeach Symphony (camargue tribute (imp) x Ainthorpe Grace Darling (imp)). This is her first season of shows and taking it all in her stride. She placed equal second in the open pony class but third on count back. Great natured pony with a huge future. Kilpara Park Giggles - Fletcher’s pony won his Shetland class piloted by Milli Quigley-Smith. Giggles is special to us as he is actually out of Dora (Illangi Neive) who starred both the kids off. Ketch did ride in the tiny trots and was third. Last but not least were Maison and Splash Dance owned by Andrea Merry - they won their lead rein and first ridden small show hunter pony class and Maison won her rider 6-9. Splash was then ridden by Ella Manning for the win in the open hunter pony as well. Overall a massive weekend - thanks to all sponsors, supporters and mum and dad ( Evan Hunt) at home holding the fort, feeding out, changing rugs and watching the mares in the foaling paddock. Also thanks to our continued support from Pryde's EasiFeed and Interpath Joint Health Experts. The help that we get from Roger East in developing Maison as the rider we would like her to become has been invaluable and getting a tune out the horses. Thanks again.

20.01.2022 Earlsley Park Bo Peep - supreme champion ridden riding pong at the SA RPSBS Pageant in the Park show - held at Murray Bridge All Breeds Show. Thankyou to Amy Litchfield for running a massive show. Thank you to sponsors the Jacquie Foale-Jacka for the lovely trophy

17.01.2022 22 yo this week - Happy Birthday Fernleigh Fine Print. Still siring HOTY and Royal Show Champions.

16.01.2022 First show for 2020 - an ESA Southern Star Qualifier and Newstar show. We only took two to compete - both in their newcomer season but not eligible to compete as they both started at ESA HOTY in September 2019. Earlsley Park Bo Peep owned and ridden by Maison backed up her 2019 Nationals performance with a win in the lead rein, first ridden and open small pony - ridden by 7 yo Maison in each class. We thank Roger East (#supercoach) for input into this combination - both are ...young. (Photo 1 and 2) Argyl Melody - won her only class the open pony 13-14hh. (Photo3) Thanks to the ESA committee for hosting the event, the interstate judge ( Jess Campbell ) the grounds were fantastic and the setup looked great. Thanks also to our supporters and sponsors #prydeseasifeed, #interpath joint supplements, #rogereastsupercoach

16.01.2022 The Stud had a great show at the recent SHC SA Hygain show with 7 Grand National tickets being gained by the team (yes Maison gained the majority of them- the future is the Stud is chasing me and clearly over taking me ).

16.01.2022 Happy Birthday Bo Peep. Carrots and grass hand picked from the fairy garden Charlie Hunt Lisa Billingham Bailey

12.01.2022 ESA HORSELAND HOTY Argyl Diamond Earlsley Park Bo Peep Roxleigh Frederica ... Rivington Bubbling Over Argyl Reprint I could not be more proud of our team gaining tickets to the nationals with such an on/off/on prep. Maison continued to make us proud on her two ponies gaining champion in her last leadrein start and R/U in the 2 small pony classes... where did that time go. Rivington Bubbling Over also gained tickets winning the Medium child’s hunter and R/U in the medium hunter pony... not bad at just their 3rd show together. Argyl Diamond gained her 2nd Hoty title much to our delight and Roxleigh Frederica produced a solid workout for Reserve. Argyl Reprint was supreme newcomer show horse and then at just her 3rd show gained her nationals ticket. Thank you Roger East for your help from afar (we nearly got a lesson in!!) - your input is always valuable. Also, thank you to the sponsors of the classes we were successful in... 10.01.2022 Great to be back at a little super friendly show on the weekend - Father’s Day outing!! Maison rode Earlsley Park Bo Peep ( Lisa Billingham Bailey) for a win in the lead rein, first ridden and champion small pony in the first ring, and Rivington Bubbling Over ( Angie Gardiner) for hunter first ridden win and an open class. Great to have a run around on a lovely oval with the sun shining. We also took the opportunity to take a new comer large Galloway for a trot around at a show with a nice atmosphere. Thanks to all those that put in to get this show up and running at a time when we have all had difficulties. Charlie Hunt, Evan Hunt

09.01.2022 With everything being cancelled it meant we could get in and wean the foals a bit earlier than previous years. Charlie Hunt, Edwina Wilkes, a super bunch of foals - with lovely characters - only four - which is a nice change for us.

06.01.2022 Thank you to the organizers of the Competitors Assoc SHC HOTY. Last hit out before heading to EA nationals next week. Relatively quiet day on Saturday with only a rather exuberant Roxlegh Frederica ( owner Julie Payne) gaining runner up in the show hunter over 16 hh and Charlie Hunt going champion senior rider. Sunday was a little busier with Maison contesting 4 classes - both the lead rein and first ridden on Splash Dance ( owner Andrea Dree Merry) and also on her own... Earlsley Park Bo Peep - winning all four classes - with Splash Dance taking out the mini supreme - massive day when you are only just 7! Splash also won his open small hunter class ridden by Ella Manning. Like Bo Peep, Argyl Melody (Fernleigh Fine Print x Kolbeach Symphony) is in her first season and won the large open pony - qualifying for GN 2020. An ultra consistent mare who was equal second at her last SHC SA outing (3rd on count back). Millicent Quigley-Smith ( Lucy Quigley-Smith) did an awesome job on Melody to place in the child’s class. This was only the second time Milli has sat on the pony and she did a great job. Thanks to Roger East for his continued support and guidance into our team - we really appreciate it, to Julie Payne for helping even when her mare isn’t at the show. Thanks also to the companies that support or team @ Pryde's EasiFeed and Interpath Joint Health Experts See more

06.01.2022 Kolbeach Royalty ( Fairley Tempest ( UK) x Ardenhall Royal Secret (UK)) 18 this year - although under utilized he has still sired HOTY winners in all classes from lead rein, small pony, medium pony, large pony and small Galloway to represent their state at the EA nationals.
