23.01.2022 Sometimes, you need 8 hours to go sit in the grass with your ponies.

21.01.2022 Okay. Now this, this is cool! Went for an hour ride doing fence checks and had the other 3 follow me the whole way. Then they were all perfect for feed time. I could get used to this

20.01.2022 An incredibly important, and sometimes overlooked, part of searching for a trainer is how the horse reacts to them. I'm so glad that this post covered it. Horses are perceptive, intelligent animals and will immediately tell you how they feel about everyone and everything. If they're saying something is wrong, listen, it may save you money, time, or even your life. People can be incredibly charming and still be hiding a lot of things. Horses won't have a bar of it and they don't discriminate.

18.01.2022 October 3rd 2020. Roxy learning stops and rollbacks. As an ex-campdrafter, she initially struggled with engaging her hind and often either hook turned or stopped on the forehand. I have some lovely videos of her dashboarding me . We've both come a long way since but I do miss the western work now that I have no arena. Looking forward to taking her to some more cutting lessons and competitions some time soon.

12.01.2022 Hi there and welcome to Ariana Leech Horse Training. For those of you who do not know me, I am a horse trainer, rider, and all-round enthusiast. I specialise in western events, specifically cutting but I have participated in, or studied, just about every discipline you can throw at me. I have studied psychology for the past 5 years and strive to use its calm approach to my training. I find it much more satisfying getting a horse’s trust by first being empathetic to their feel...ings rather than assuming they are simply being rude and disrespectful. I work at liberty with all my horses and try my best to do the same with my clients’ horses but they take as long as they take and that’s okay. I have also successfully worked with horses who try to take advantage of a softer approach and they have responded very well to my other methods. If you are looking for someone whose first approach is to have them running, sweating and puffing madly, then please look elsewhere. If you are looking for a firm but fair and consistent approach that has your horse relaxed and thinking, please email [email protected] or message this page and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

07.01.2022 Danny and Zeus had their first trims on Sunday and both took it super well. Zeus was a little bit more worried and started hopping so we'll work on that but overall a pretty successful first try.

06.01.2022 As a true blue Australian, I can 100% confirm that these 10 images accurately portray the only Aussie public and private transport systems available in our country. Thanks to Gympie Saddleworld and the fantastic trainers involved for such a spectacular night.
