24.01.2022 When a challenging muddy drive in the forest leads to a view like this. We ventured out on this dark Saturday morning to give the Everest a good workout on the bumpy roads of Black Spur, when the sun suddenly came out. We would have never made it this far without this SUV. #SUVSaturday #FordEverest #ad

21.01.2022 By now you probably know how rare it is for me to be seen in front of the camera, let alone talk, but when @blundstoneau asked me to be part of their new women's heel campaign, I had to say yes! Three years ago, I was fortunate enough to transition from working a 9 to 5 job to making my photography side hustle into my career. But photography to me is a lot more than a job and capturing beautiful pictures, it's a tool.... A tool that has helped me travel and experience life through other people's eyes and cultures, connect and create meaningful connections with like-minded and passionate people all around the world, it has helped me create memories that will last a lifetime, it has thought me patience and that sooner or later that hard work off, pushing me to achieve things in life I've only ever dreamed of. #MadeForMe @blundstoneau

04.01.2022 Bali I didn't think I could love a place and dislike it just as much, but here we are. The very long caption I wrote didn't fit so let's get straight to the point and say it how it is without sugarcoating. Bali is a dump, a plastic island.... I'm embarrassed to be part of this generation of travellers that is too busy ticking places off their bucket list rather than respect and embrace the places they have the priviledge of visiting. We go to Bali on wellness retreats and reconnect with nature, yet just outside those villas people are burning plastic and there are piles of rubbish everywhere, on the side of the road, on the beach, in the rivers, in the fields where the food we eat is grown and where the animals we consume are eating from. It's disappointing and frustrating seeing barely any mention to this waste epidemic on the island on Instagram. How we are able to just shrug this shit off is absolute madness. But I get it... In a place that is (was) paradise and where it's always summer, and you get to wake up and go for a surf, eat pretty food in pretty cafes, where you watch the sun go down from a beach club where everyone is happy and dancing, you think maybe it's ok, maybe it's not that bad? Except that it is and it's worse than what we think. Where do we draw line and decide to be part of the solution rather than the problem? Why do we travel to places to expect the same things we have at home, push a place to its limits and act like the way we decide to travel doesn't have any impact even when the results are just in front of us? When did we learn that seeing all the negative things tourism has brought to the island of Bali, together with the massive waste issue, is acceptable and we can freely carry on doing the same we were doing before? Everything we put out in the world is going to catch up with us sooner or later. We must do better. Rant over for now.
