21.01.2022 We have always offered workplace wellness assessments and nutritional supplements along with exceptional quality environmentally conscious cleaning products. We thought we'd give you a heads up as to what impact the overuse of hand sanitisers may do to your overall health! A 70%+ alcohol based product equates to approx 140 proof alcohol, ie the good stuff you used to be able to buy to drink at leisure. Ingesting alcoholic beverages allows your digestive system to actually... process it. However by absorption i.e applying hand sanitiser this high strength alcohol goes directly into your bloodstream. Many medical and alternative therapists are seeing an increase in clients who are experiencing fatigue, confusion and unexplained body aches due to compromised liver function. It is a wise move to provide high quality nutritional support via foods and supplements. With government and health authorities recommendations of continual use of 70%+ alcohol content hand sanitisers and majority of Businesses insisting on the use of as part of their 'COVID' & WHS policy we offer this advice. And have a range of options available for nutritional supplements, contactless ordering and delivery. Online consultations are also available. 20.01.2022 To everyone involved with Bluesfest, It is obvious we will not be on this Easter. We are heartbroken as we believe we were presenting one of the best ever bills... of talent for you. I was in discussions right through last week with every headliner - they ALL said theyre coming as long as nothing occurred to prevent them from doing so. That is the level of commitment that our artists have, and I am proud of that. I must now thank every one of you for supporting us. The emails and posts are deeply appreciated at this time. We are now working through how to move forward and to give you details. I thank you for allowing us enough time to get everything in place for the best possible outcome for everyone. Peter Noble OAM Festival Director Bluesfest ____________ BLUESFEST STATEMENT SUNDAY 15/03/2020 Promoters and Producers through Live Performance Australia, the Live Entertainment Industry Group, have been in constant communication with both State and Federal government since Prime Minister Morrison stated Friday afternoon, his advice, that all non-essential sporting and entertainment events with audiences above 500 should cancel. We have stated in the strongest manner that advice was NOT a direction, and we needed the certainty by directive, followed by legislation, as soon as possible, so our entire industry could move forward to act in a responsible manner toward ALL interested parties, the public, ticket buyers, the artists, Bluesfest employees, and all suppliers and contractors. The government has now made a definitive statement, and have banned events, and require 14 days of self-isolation for everyone entering Australia. This is a matter that will greatly affect both our future at Bluesfest, as well as the entire Entertainment Industry. Please stand by for further updates. ____________ BLUESFEST STATEMENT FRIDAY 13/03/2020 Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, wants all non-essential gatherings of more than 500 people to be suspended from Monday amid fears about the spread of the COVID-19. We are now awaiting the official requirement from Federal and State authorities on Monday and will update you at that time.

19.01.2022 copied from.... This is a brilliant idea for anyone who has lost their job, is on Job Seeker and must begin mutual obligations in August. Each week, write to ten MPs seeking work.... That will give you 15 weeks of completing your obligations. After that, move on to the Senate and write to 10 of them per week. This will add another 7 weeks of completing your obligations. If enough unemployed people do this, its very likely a few of the MPs will get the message that there are simply not enough jobs around to make people perform like tame seals, and degrade themselves. Share. Its perfectly legal. Thanks to @pencilportrait3

13.01.2022 Almost 6 months ago we watched our full and busy work calendar empty out as the world ground to a halt in an effort to stem the spread of coronavirus, since the...n there has been no offer of assistance. Since then, the UK Government has slowly lifted restrictions to allow businesses to reopen, and the 'new normal' has seen doors reopened for many. This is not the case for the world of events. Instead we're now just as closed as every business was in the height of lockdown.... There is no date or working plan for restarting the event industry from the government and no solutions being tabled to outline a plan to help the business as a whole survive. And the stark reality now is that most of the event industry just won't be here without extended support from the government, with COVID-19 financial support schemes starting to wind down because most businesses are now trading again. Venues are now closing their doors forever. Companies are already laying off staff, and freelancers have no idea when they might next see some income. The UK has one of the most professional and admired events talent pool in the world, working for and with the most respected suppliers worldwide within the industry ... Without action now, we'll see not only people and suppliers gone forever, but also lose some amazing events along the way. It's already happening - this simply cannot wait any longer.

12.01.2022 COBARGO UNITES! CANCELLED BECAUSE OF COVID-19 It's with sadness that the Yuin Folk Club, Cobargo and the Cobargo Folk Festival announce the cancellation of our... Cobargo Unites! benefit concert because of coronavirus restrictions on mass gatherings. This benefit was planned for Sunday 3 May at the Cobargo Showground. This is a further blow for Cobargo as it follows the cancellation of the 25th Cobargo Folk Festival this year because of the fires that went through our area on New Year's Eve. The 3 May benefit was being staged at minimal cost to the Club and the Festival through the generosity of the musicians and Tri-Point Rigging Services, who were all donating their time and expertise. Cobargo Unites! was a fundraiser that aimed to raise $200,000 for the Cobargo Community Bushfire Recovery Fund for the fire-affected communities of Cobargo and district. This event would also have brought many visitors to the Far South Coast, supporting our local businesses and injecting much needed funds into the local economy. Sadly, this is not to be. Its important that we protect the health of our community and our visitors and not risk increasing public exposure to a virus which may be potentially fatal to some people. When the situation improves, we will look again at options to bring great live music to Cobargo and our region. Many thanks to all the people who rallied round to support Cobargo and district, particularly Tri-Point Rigging Services, Lee Kernaghan and SHANE HOWARD - GOANNA and to all the performers listed on our wonderful poster, created by artist Marcus Piper who also donated his services. So sorry that we couldn't pull this off. It would have been awesome... All tickets will be refunded shortly. If you would still like to donate to help the bushfire recovery efforts in Cobargo and district you can contribute here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/cobargo-community-bushfire-recov and direct to our bank account here: Cobargo Community Bushfire Recovery Fund Inc Bendigo Bank BSB: 633 000 Account no: 171 210 016
