22.01.2022 A beautiful bride with a beautiful bouquet in a beautiful vineyard, Photogerson must have had a smile from ear to ear with this scene in front of him. Our special guests at Arimia are privvy to the lesser known parts of the property, namely the rows of vines that lay out in-front of the guest house, a photographers dream some would say!

21.01.2022 Ash and Dai ventured down Quininup Road and were rewarded with first taste of our 2018 Arimia Chardonnay. Winemaker Mark Warren describes this as "..a rich and textural style with pretty perfumed aromas of stone fruit...restrained oak and hints of pastry." We may be biased but we think its pretty great! Available now in our cellar door and restaurant. #arimiamr #seriouslysustainable #chardonnay

20.01.2022 It doesnt get much better or fresher than Arimia with Head Chef Evan Hayter High praise from Sean Blocksidge whose Margaret River Discovery Tours are probably the most sought-after in the region. Thanks mate!

19.01.2022 What an AMAZING day! Grab a seat on the veranda and give the new menu a whirl - perhaps with a glass of ros - spring is definitely on its way! @ Margaret River, Western Australia

19.01.2022 #sustainability in action! This is one of our dams where were raising a fresh batch of trout for the upcoming season. Head chef Evan Hayter will be putting his Michelin Star trained skills to good work in late spring / early summer when this stock is ready. We cant wait, and neither can the pups by the looks of it! . Tim Campbell Photo

18.01.2022 Butter wouldnt melt, right? WRONG! We spent THREE HOURS chasing this little monkey yesterday, after her amazing escape. Not even the tastiest cabbage leaves could tempt her back after her taste of freedom! Fingers crossed for a more productive day today

18.01.2022 Weve just had some new additions to the Arimia family.. Nothing goes to waste here and these little piglets will take care of any kitchen leftovers, which means they too will be raised on an organic and sustainably produced diet! . - Main Break Photo

12.01.2022 A pretty wine for a pretty afternoon.. The 2013 Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre. Bright and intense, with lifted, raspberry and red currant aromas. Confected, jubey and red-frog notes meet cinnamon, clove and anise, all held in place by a spicy shiraz dominated mid-palate. Savoury tannins finish in a highly aromatic, food friendly wine that will reward medium to long term cellaring. Did we mention that this drop took out a Bronze Medal at the 2015 Qantas Mt Barker Wine Show? ..your springtime afternoon on the deck is now complete.

12.01.2022 The whole team is so excited about our Gourmet Escape dinner. Its a collaboration dinner; Jo Barrett (Oakridge Estate, Yarra Valley) and our own chef Evan Hayter celebrating sustainable cooking and a zero waste philosophy, with Oakridge and Arimia wines.

11.01.2022 Fresh off the back of our nomination for Regional Restaurant Of The Year in the Australian Good Food Guide, we cant wait to host Table and Taste this coming Saturday! Some seats still available, booking details below.

10.01.2022 What an honour to achieve #4 in Regional WA in the Gourmet Traveller 2019 Australian Restaurant Guide. This off-the-grid cellar door restaurant is leading a revolution. From running on solar power to farming its grapes, vegetables and rare-breed pigs organically, Arimia makes a compelling argument that restaurants can - and should - think green. Congratulations Chef Evan Hayter and the team, its wonderful to be recognised and this is just the beginning! ... Thank you Gourmet Traveller!

10.01.2022 Well be open again this Thursday 16th August for wine tasting and lunch. Its been a fantastic winter break for the whole taem. Weve had a bit of time off and got stuck into some important projects too, like creating a new vegie garden. Cant wait to show it off to you - itll be visible from the restaurant! Photo of Bess looking lovely: Tim Campbell Photo

10.01.2022 We have some HUGE things under construction at Arimia. Our goal of becoming a fully organic, self sustaining restaurant is taking a giant leap forward at the moment as the new vegetable garden is installed. Taking a break from service through this winter period the team have been getting down and dirty (especially @chefevanhayter!) to get the job done and were absolutely hanging to show you what weve done! You wont have to wait too long though, in about one more week well be back open for service to finish off the stormy season, comfort food is not far away..

09.01.2022 And just like another vintage down! With 2020 looking set to be superb, the Cabernet Sauvignon was last to come off the vine thanks to our entire restaurant, garden and Vinyard staff working together. We are so grateful to have such an amazing team. All of our staff are still busy across all aspects of the farm and be sure to check out our wine offers online at www.arimia.com.au @ Arimia Margaret River

08.01.2022 Its local, its 100% grass fed and it is indeed the stuff @chefevanhayters dreams are made of.. Its black angus rib eye from our Karridale supplier, thats only 59 kms away! Theres not many other places where you can drive just down the road and have an afternoon vino with the kind gentleman who spent the last 4 and a half years raising the 1 ton beast which this cut came from. Just look at that marbling, delicious! . - @timcampbellphoto . #seriouslysustainable #organicfarming #sustainablefarming #sustainableliving #sustainablefood #cheflife #yeschef #margaretriver #margaretriverfood #5starfood #margaretriverwine #restaurantaustralia #blackangus #angusbeef

08.01.2022 Stoked to be included in Australian Gourmet Travellers list of the best regional WA restaurants for the second year running! #arimiamr #seriouslysustainable #wafoodies #margaretriver #margaretriverwine

07.01.2022 59 kilometres, thats how far this cut of 100% grass fed black angus beef had to travel from Karridale to get to our kitchen, pretty much just down the road a farmer would say.. So the next time you order a dry aged rib eye at Arimia you can not only indulge in its divine preparation by head chef Evan Hayter, but also in the knowledge that the 4 and a half year old, 1 ton beast which produced this delicious cut was raised ethically and sustainably right in the heart of the Margaret River region. ..and that is exactly what were passionate about; giving you the most authentic culinary experience our corner of the state has to offer. . - Tim Campbell Photo

07.01.2022 Thrilled and proud to make a shortlist of 5 for Best Regional Restaurant in the 2020 Good Food Guide! Testament to chef Evan Hayterss fantastic food offering and the hard work of all of our staff. "Trigger warning: theres no internet at this biodynamic off-grid restaurant. Its sustainability done right, from its own brilliantly structured Chardonnays and Zinfandels right through to Evan Hayters estate-raised, wood-fired lunch party. Taste the serenity of pickled and roasted beets, napped with sweet, mellow cows milk curd. Its a soothing ride whether fireside or sunning yourself on the deck while twirling tagliatelle."

06.01.2022 Youve got to say gday to head chef Evan Hayters pigs when you come to Arimia, theyre always full of beans! Were all about knowing where your food comes from at Arimia and the Berkshire-Duroc cross breed produces a deeply coloured, beautifully flavored pork which is a result of the organic feed we raise them on. Its a healthy, ethical and long-term #sustainable practice, and we stand by it!

06.01.2022 In for a light lunch or after something small to prepare for the main perhaps? Try this roasted parsnip with green peas, tozino and the most delicate of potato wafers, all prepared by head chef Evan Hayter. The 2017 Verdelho is the perfect partner here (aside from your lunch date) to round off the experience, a pairing fit for a sunny afternoon on the Arimia deck.

03.01.2022 Sometimes when our wedding guests wander off after their ceremony we wonder if theyre ever coming back! You cant blame folks though, the restaurant grounds back onto a beautiful karri forest with a fern filled floor, its a little bit magical and photogs like Bianca Kate Photography just love it, sometimes we even lose ourselves out there on a lazy afternoon stroll. Ahh the perks of living next to a national park.

02.01.2022 Whole Lotta Rosé Our annual celebration of Rosé will go ahead this Sunday, with tickets sales limited due to current circumstances. 02.01.2022 Truth, Love & Clean Cutlery is a guide to the worlds truly exemplary, organic, sustainable and ethical restaurants... and Arimia will be included in their Australia edition! Each restaurant is selected on merit by a team of 57 editors, among them many of the worlds most respected food writers. "Evan Hayter doesnt just walk the walk; he plants the plants that feature on his locally focused menus. Arimia runs on solar power, collects rainwater and treats its own wastewater.... Oh, and Hayter and team rear pigs - both for meat and to help rid the farm of noxious, invasive plant species." 02.01.2022 A couple of weeks ago now we received a new delivery of these guys, in miniature form that is.. Head chef Evan Hayter is carefully rearing a dam-load of these fine specimens, fattening them up in preparation for late spring / early summer when hell begin preparing brand new trout dishes for the menu. You absolutely can not get a fresher fish than one raised on your own property! #SERIOUSLYSUSTAINABLE

01.01.2022 Pressed duck leg, carrot and oranges, Geraldton wax. The perfect dish to accompany your grand final lunch. Theres no need to get caught up in the crowds in town, Arimia is a peaceful hideaway where you can listen to the sounds of the bordering national park while you pair this creation by head chef Evan Hayter with our 2013 Zinfandel. Bon appetite.

01.01.2022 Sustainable is a word we hear a lot. But in a world where disposable coffee cups and single use water bottles are normal, what does it really mean at Arimia? Well, on the journey towards organic certification were significantly expanding our planting area, in the hope of ultimately supplying all of our own fruit and vege, so that means that youll be seeing a whole lot more raw produce like this colourful collection of beetroot we have here. Why? Because we want you to know exactly where your lunch came from so you can rest assured that we are leading the charge towards a #seriouslysustainable industry.
