24.01.2022 I've spent the weekend away but I had to record a training for an upcoming summit. It's titled, She is Emerging: A framework for unapologetic living. 24.01.2022 Today has been tiring. Walking a line of control and release. Speaking truth whilst fearing the consequences. Yet choosing them anyway. The Emerging Woman knows that her desires and wants might be too much for some and yet she also knows that to water herself down means making herself palatable to the wrong people.... The Emerging Woman chooses not to put on her own shackles but she still feels the weight of them. She knows the choice is still one that requires strength and a willingness to shun approval. 23.01.2022 It was such a beautiful day today. The whole day felt like a gentle celebration. I filled the last spot on my retreat. Handing that task over to the universe served me well.... Spent some time enjoying the sun. Enjoying the company of my husband. Indulging in a delicious lunch outside at @williesmithsappleshed and washed down with a scrummy cider. And then finished the afternoon off with a client coaching session and some preparation for next week's retreat. A day well spent.

14.01.2022 Feeling super aligned and on the right path. Since qualifying in 2015 to facilitate Creatrix in small groups (one of about 20 in the world licensed to do so) I've wanted to run retreats. For the last 2 years my vision has grown. A clearer plan for how I want to do that has emerged. But I unconsciously had a belief that only once I was earning xyz in my biz could I then run retreats.... Nevertheless I persisted, my retreat earlier this year had to be cancelled thanks to covid, so I did some more work on my mindset, having Creatrix to clear even more blocks and beliefs about my readiness to live my best life. Fast forward to 7 weeks ago, staying at a beautiful BnB with my husband, a place I had discovered through a random online connection with the owner through a group. An immediate resonance was had, a plan was hatched, a date was booked, a theme created, and I got to work... My Soul Aligned Content Creation Retreat is filled, 5 amazing women (2 of whom I've never met), coming together next week. I work best in front of people, I am a teacher by trade and by vocation, workshops and retreats are a natural and logical way for me to do my best work. And now I get to fulfill some of my desires and do work in a space that brings me pure joy. 13.01.2022 Before Creatrix I always felt stressed, depressed and that something was blocking me from believing in myself. I felt I had pretty much failed in life and there was nothing I could do to turn things around. This was definitely not the life I had dreamed of as a child. During Creatrix even though I wanted to fully believe in the process part of me would say, What if I’m wasting my money? Still continuing, I came to a point where I just had to surrender all my negative c...hitter chatter in my head and believe in the process, that there was a way out. This is when things started to truly happen for me leading to my breakthrough shift. After each session I felt more at ease and believing more in myself and in my future. I finally felt I still had a dream future to build and believing that it was actually possible. I became more comfortable doing things, finding ways to deal more easily with situations everyday life would throw at me and also started creating goals and actually making plans to work through them. Let’s be clear, I never would have done this in the past. The result of this was absolutely amazing and I thought this would never happen to me in a million years. Just after two weeks I was offered a Diploma in Engineering course, worth well over $10 000 all paid to start next year. This was one of my childhood dreams that I thought I lost my chance, but thanks to Creatrix now I believe it most definitely is possible. If you are watching testimonials deciding whether to go ahead with Creatrix or not this is my advice. You already know what happens if you don’t do it, why not see what happens for you when you do. Thing is, we all ham it up a bit. My authentic is always a bit theatrical. So bringing out all facets of my personality can be quite the act of alchemy. Feeling fun and frivolous.

12.01.2022 Waking up to this beauty of a vista. We manifested this home in December 2017 and every day it makes me feel like a millionaire. My bedroom window, that I could gaze through all day every day is just one of the many reasons for that feeling.... The mindset work required that year to overcome the sale of the home we had been renting, temporary homelessness, and the seemingly impossible prospect of buying a home, was huge. I creatrixed the shit out of a bunch of fears and beliefs and turned things around in a window of 6 months. Definitely starting from a base of privilege so let's not overlook that but also so many paths we could have gone down if I hadn't done the work. 12.01.2022 Pretty excited about the VIP weekend booked for my client. We've got 2 pages of money and success blocks already identified and we'll be spending a day clearing them replacing them with positive new beliefs with Creatrix. 11.01.2022 Every day is an opportunity to envision your life. Every day you get to align more fully with your soul's desires. It feels impossible that we are at the end of 2020 and ready to launch into the new year.... There is a proliferation of of goal setting, theme word choosing, and an overall sense that 2021 is a make or break year. Please don't forget that life can be full of twists and turns. That we can often overestimate what can be done in 12months but underestimate what can be done in 3years. Don't beat yourself up if this year wasn't all that you hoped for or pressure yourself to be more than exceptional to make up for lost time. The year my baby Mia was stillborn, my plans and goals died too but I rose above above my grief and lived my life. That is success to me. Being more yourself. Living life fully. Choosing authenticity over conformity. Speaking your truth rather than people pleasing. Don't stress over this new year's eve as some defining moment, every day you get to choose again. 10.01.2022 It's in his lungs... That was the news this week. It was a blow after what's been a series of blows.... Whilst the reality of his illness has always been in the back of my mind, this brought it home again. Last night I watched a light-hearted film about a woman living it up after being told she had weeks to live. Taking chances, living your best life, speaking your mind, and refusing to take shit from anyone. A hunger for unapologetic living. I don't want a death sentence to be the thing to motivate living my most fulfilling life. Instead I'll keep peeling back the layers of fear and beliefs that might block me from making powerful choices. And step deeply into my power and wisdom. Creatrix keeps me clear of anything that might stifle me and ultimately helps me be the Creatrix of my best life.

09.01.2022 We live in a society that attaches value to people based on perceived productivity. We are conditioned to feel shame if we aren't doing more. That even when we reach the limits of our capacity in any given situation, we feel lazy or inept. For years I would push through illness and fatigue. I was one of those arseholes that would drag my sick self to work, effectively spreading my germs to others whilst quietly claiming some kind of Martyr status.... As a teacher I got the added guilt trip of letting students down or adding to a colleagues already overwhelming workload. I spent last night feeling like I was being punched in the uterus. I woke exhausted and sore. I called in sick. Whilst I wouldn't be putting anyone else's health at risk by dragging myself into work. I would be endangering my own. And I know now that that's just as important.

07.01.2022 It's no secret that I love hiking. Yesterday we went to Adamsons Falls. It's the third time I've been and I never get tired. We sat on the rocks right under the Falls.... I closed my eyes and listened to the water, felt the breeze of spray on my face. The space is like an amphitheatre. The walls are velvety green. The day grounded me, filled my cup, left me feeling loved up, and joyful. 05.01.2022 Today we hiked the edge of Fluted Cape, picking our way up the track. So many beautiful angles, different views. It felt a little hectic as I herded my kids along the route whilst trying to maintain adult conversations and enjoy some time for myself too.... Now that I'm settled into my bed, reflecting on the day, my bones are weary, my muscles sore, my nerves a little frayed. But I'm calm. Solid. Grounded. The splintered bits of me slowly coming back together. A new part of me revealed. She is Emerging.

02.01.2022 I love working at my kitchen table, it has the best view. I also know that working amongst mess and not being able to tidy things away in an orderly fashion leaves me wasting time trying to find things. My desk was in my daughters room, with it in mind that I could share the space with her but she's rapidly turning into a teen and needs her privacy and I just didn't like working up there.... I've moved my desk into my kitchen where it has seamlessly blended in with my other plants stands and shelves and because the desk bit folds up neatly, I'll easily be able to pack everything away.
