25.01.2022 I must admit, when I see a warning sign on the weather forecast, I get excited . Infrared 590nm

22.01.2022 The #GalacticCentre in all of its glory. A supermassive #BlackHole of about 4100 million solar masses, in which is about 27thousand light years away from #earth :) (yes this picture traveled that long before it got saved on my camera sensor ) The reason I love this picture is because in june last year, the planet #Jupiter was located at my favourite section of the #MilkyWay the front leg of the #DarkHorseNebula This picture was captured using a stock not modified Canon 5d4 camera from my backyard in bortle 5 light pollution scale.

21.01.2022 The first time I saw it, I was intrigued by the formation of this sandscape I had a feeling that there was something familiar about it but it took me a while to work out what I was really seeing. I was moving and trying different compositions trying to figure out what I was seeing and as the sun was getting lower, the picture started to reveal itself.

20.01.2022 Morning fog waving over #canberra mountains. When I was editing the picture today I noticed two birds at the centre of the image up. Probably you won’t even see them after instagram compression :(

19.01.2022 There was some crazy lightning pasting near #Canberra city last night, look at those eye blasting bolts at the bottom . There might be some more tonight, my dog Biscuit will be under my bed for sure .

17.01.2022 The joy of finding some old pictures that were hidden in my old laptop . These are some personal pics of a visit to the ancient city of #gjirokaster in south #albania back in 2011. They’re taken with my #canon550d camera. It has passed quite a while since then so this town would be a little busier now but someone that is planning to explore this beautiful place might find them useful.

17.01.2022 Today I witnessed the most beautiful thing i have ever seen in Canberra. This is the second time I have seen a full circle rainbow, the first time happened flying over Strahan Tasmania on a single engine Cesna plane. This time I went to Telstra tower to photograph the crazy storm that passed this afternoon, after the storm passed the tower, the beautiful rays of sun started to appear as the sun was setting behind me. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the rich circle of . You can see the shade of the tower right through it . 17.01.2022 #Belconnen I can’t believe how much this place has changed in the last 3 years.

17.01.2022 The bow of the Milky Way captured on a 720nm infrared modified canon 5d3 camera. The infrared light gives the landscape a subtle dreamy look even at night don’t you reckon? The exposure value was pushed even higher than visible spectrum so I had difficulty in focusing the lens as you don’t see nothing on the screen but lucky that there is the bright Jupiter above the tree that helped me to find focus. I have captured the Milky Way on infrared before on single shots but this i...s the first time to capture a full panorama that is made out of 12 pictures. That bright light next to my tent it's me holding a speedlite :) and the light at the top left that compliments the image as it looks like a shooting star is actually the flare from my speedlite.. This is the first pano nightscape of the Milky Way arch that I have seen and maybe yours too :). Enjoy it ! ________________________ More at.. 15.01.2022 One of a kind Some of you that follow my work for a while might have realized that I like to push my boundaries and what the camera can capture. On 28th of July 2018 I knew that I had a chance to capture something that was never seen before.. The experts were saying that all of the sunset and sunrises of the planet were going to reflect on the longest lunar eclipse of the century. Well in short, this is the result! An image that took less than a minute to capture. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I put it together that morning. It was a long night as I couldn’t sleep but I had to process this before going to bed, (at about 11am ) Captured from the beautiful @nationalarboretumcanberra located within the city of #canberra.

15.01.2022 On my way to the Telstra tower I look up and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this, I had to stop and take a quick snap. The first thing I thought was here we go again, another massive hail is about to burst from the sky. I was the only visitor going up :) then I saw two guys that joined me. I set up a timelapse holding the tripod with my hand but when the storm arrived I couldn’t hold it anymore so I went inside the tower and let the eye of the storm pass. It didn’t l...ast long so a few minutes later I went out and took the Full Circle rainbow that I posted last night. 06.01.2022 Black Mountain Two years ago precisely from today Canberra had one of the most spectacular lightning storms ever and I was lucky enough to photograph. 05.01.2022 How is this spot for my next astrophotography workshop? . When I went to photograph this incredible place at #tidbinbillanaturereserve last year it felt like I was staying at a five million star hotel , I couldn’t sleep that night, I mean how could you! In less than two weeks I’m teaming up again with @wildfestaus to hold another astrophotography workshop, I can’t wait to show how to take images like this .

05.01.2022 Good morning sunshine! . It is magic to photograph at night but early mornings are special too, especially in #Canberra . There are some breathtaking views around the skirts of the city that I have been exploring for years. Do you like getting up early ?

03.01.2022 "Isolated" Smoke filled playground during the last summer bushfires. Canberra was deserted during that time, everyone was hiding home with windows closed at temperatures over 40degrees because the smoke was at the highest levels. I had a p2 mask on my face when I took this shot. It felt like I was in a movie set at a distant planet. Yesterday I found out that this image was selected as a finalist, ranked on top ten out of 75 shortlisted for the Documentary category at the Australian Photography Awards - APA. #australianphotographyawards

01.01.2022 This spectacular lone tree was begging to be photographed . There was a bird standing on it but he left when I got to the fence :(, I started taking some shots and waited a bit but he didn’t came back :(. Maybe it was meant to be this way, just about the tree.
