25.01.2022 With the COVID-19 Virus situation evolving daily, we would like to keep the community and clients at Arise Physiotherapy updated with practices being implemented in the clinic, which aligns with the most recent Health Regulatory Bodies advice to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. At this stage we will continue to remain OPEN. In addition to our strict hygiene and cleanliness standards, the following will be carried out in the clinic: 1. Increased cleaning of all common surfa...ces and equipment such as beds, doors, equipment and furniture throughout the day. 2. Use of hand sanitiser/hand washing facilities available for clients prior to entering for appointment and after appointment. 3. Staff increased vigilant handwashing before, after and during interaction. 4. Reduce unnecessary Physical contact We are asking those who meet the following high-risk criteria to NOT attend the clinic: - People that have travelled or have been in contact with someone who has travelled overseas in the last two weeks - People who have been in contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 or suspected case. - If you have a cough, fever, sore throat and shortness of breath Please call the clinic on 4972 5476 if you meet the above criteria and we will postpone your appointment. 01.01.2022 Happy International Womens Day! Make time to put your health first!

01.01.2022 It is with the best interests of my clients, the wider community, myself and my family, that Arise Physiotherapy will be reducing trading hours and days from Tuesday 31st March until further notice. This is to limit face to face contact and help reduce the risk and potential spread of COVID-19. I will still be providing acute and essential care for those who need access to Physiotherapy. The Health minister acknowledges the role that Physiotherapy has in relieving the strain ...on GP's and Emergency at this point in time. I am also excited to let you know that i will be offering TELEHEALTH consults soon! Telehealth is performed via video link (or phone if video not available) to assess, diagnose, educate and provide a tailored treatment plan and advice for suitable conditions. There are still a few fine details to be sorted through in regards to this process so please bear with me. If you do need to come into the Clinic we have stringent cleaning practices in place and strict pre-screening questions prior to entering the clinic. I do ask though that if you are in the higher risk category that you decide whether attending Physio is a necessity at this point in time. Please, if you have and questions regarding any of the above, feel free to contact me on: Ph: (02) 4972 5476 Email: [email protected] or our website at: https://www.arisephysiotherapy.com.au/ Look after yourself, your family and those around you in your community who may need support in an adhering way. Your mental and physical health is important at times like these. Please don't be afraid to reach out to those who can support you if needed. - Ashleigh
