21.01.2022 Colour is an inseparable and important aspect of architecture. It is not only important aesthetically but it also has a great pscho-sensory importance. The use of metallic copperin our three narrow lot house project not only provide an eye-catching visual contrast but also create the appearance of light and shade which brings life to the building. Combined with a number of architectural qualities - shape, size, scale, articulation and texture, this design has a timeless appeal that works in well with the mixed architectural context of the neighbourhood.

18.01.2022 We are delighted to receive DA APPROVAL for our 4 x townhouses project in Tahmoor! An excellent result given this is the last of its kind of development consent for narrow lots due to recent changes to the DCP.
18.01.2022 FINALLY after 3 long years - Industrial Business Park & Strata Subdivision Approved Owner's pipeline dream has become a reality. Over 3 years of Pre DA preparation which involves numerous Pre DA and Urban Design Panel meetings and 2 x DA submissions facing many surprising obstacles and challenges we finally received the DA consent through the Local Planning Panel. This Industrial Business Park contains a 17/ 25 modern industrial complex and a cafeteria on a 1.3 hectare b...lock of land in the heart of Erskine Park industrial zone. This triangular corner block bounds two main RMS roads and a biodiversity conservation corridor. We are very grateful towards the following government bodies involved for supporting the development. Penrith City Council @RMS WaterNSW Community @Council Property Unit Department of Planning, Industry and Environment Thank you to all the Town Planning and Consulting team involved. Without all your support this would have not been possible. Most importantly thank you to Frank Nicholas for the opportunity. 17.01.2022 There's nothing like a contemporary home design that boasts clean lines, expansive windows and an undeniably sleekness. The central courtyard connecting the front and rear of this family home is an integral part of the building as it connect the inhabitants with nature and add an organic quality to the interiors.
16.01.2022 From the street, this development looks like a duplex but in actual fact there are two separate narrow lot houses. Each lot is only 290 square metres and 6.7 m wide but each house has five spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 lounge rooms, an open-plan living area and an internal courtyard. It is a perfect example of how the constraints of a narrow site can produce outstanding minimalist architecture.
15.01.2022 Introducing our multi dwelling development made up of 6 high end units located in the coastal town and southern suburb of the Central Coast region. Each unit features 4 spacious bedrooms with 2 master suites over three levels of living designed to maximise natural light, ventilation and water views. A mix of materials from blockwork, timber cladding, natural stacked stone panels and aluminium pressed metal provide an interesting building that engages well with the street, while creating an edgy and unique facade that create a point of difference.

14.01.2022 Works are progressing well on Stage 2 warehouse facility for Synnex which is due to complete in October 2021. Well done @buterinlestrange. This stage sees the addition of 8,000 sqm of gross floor area over 4 levels. When completed, this impressive warehouse facility will total 20,000 sqm of gross floor area and will enable Synnex to fully automate its logistics operation in Sydney and accommodate future growth. We look forward to seeing this project getting closer to completion in the coming months.

13.01.2022 We are super excited to finally received DA APPROVAL for our industrial business complex in North Rocks after 3 long years in Council! It consist of 23 modern industrial units with associated mezzanine offices and basement parking towards the back of the site to take advantage the topography and slope of the land which will provide our client with significant construction cost savings. This positive outcome for our very patient client is nothing short of remarkable g...iven the obstacles placed in its way. This project has all the challenges and constraints you can think of from being located on a difficult site with a significant fall to the rear of 25 metres, RMS site access issues due to bushfire zone out the back, stormwater runoff out into the nature reserve issues, height issues and overshadowing issues with the trees growing in the nature reserve (just to name a few). In the end, this project demonstrated how hard work and persistence pays off! See more

This manor house is like a mini residential flat building containing 4 residential dwellings strata titled over 2 levels on a single 900sqm residential site. Each home features 3 bedrooms with open plan living, precious private outdoor space and separate garages all the amenities of a single dwelling. It is a great example of innovative building design resulting in great spaces that people want to live in because it caters to their lifestyle needs and meet their budgets.
08.01.2022 Introducing our multi residential project at twilight consisting of 4 townhouses located in a small town in the Macarthur Region of NSW.The simple forms and efficient planning saw 1 x 4 bedroom and 3 x 3 bedroom townhouses created a great result for a tight site. Each house was designed to meet the needs of the current market trends in residential amenity with open plan living, outdoor entertaining, bedroom and facilities arrangements appropriate to the suburban location. The townhouses were designed with a simple and balanced palette of materials and architectural style that positively respond to the neighbourhood character.
08.01.2022 We are delighted to receive CDC APPROVAL for our 3 x terrace houses with torrens tile subdivision under the Low Rise Housing Diversity Code! They demonstrated what can be achieved on a tricky and unusual shaped site with careful and clever design. A perfect balance of contrasting materials, colours and textures to create a contemporary yet timeless look. We are excited to see the project come to life soon!
08.01.2022 It is vital for boarding house developments to be skilfully designed to minimise impacts on neighbours and to fit in with the local area to give it the best chance of obtaining planning approval. This new generation boarding house in the Central Coast suburb of Gorokan has been carefully designed to promote residential amenity, safety and wellbeing for the boarding house occupants as well as for the neighbouring residents. It consist of 10 self-contained boarding rooms efficiently arranged to create a compact and well-crafted dwelling that respond well to the character of the residential suburb.

The NSW Government has approved a $1.49bn revamp of Mt Druitt CBD which will create more than 2,800 new homes, 15,000 jobs as well as new restaurants, retail outlets and commercial space. 04.01.2022 This project is a good example of maximising the development potential of a site by creating FIVE TERRACE HOUSES on a single residential lot that is under 700 sqm. The compact floor plan and layout of each of the units show how we successfully made the most of every inch of space so in the end we have 5 cosy, compact and functional homes. All units features 3 bedrooms and are designed under the low rise housing diversity code.
03.01.2022 We are thrilled to be working on another low rise medium density housing project. It is a great example of the 'missing middle' housing model as it show how an existing single residential lot can create three high- quality low-rise medium density terrace houses. Each home features 4 bedrooms with open plan living, precious private outdoor space and car parking - all the amenity of a traditional freestanding home in a well-designed and compact form. More importantly, it is a great example of innovative building design resulting in great spaces that people want to live in because it caters to their lifestyle needs and meet their budgets.
03.01.2022 CHALLENGING PROJECT || This private hospital day surgery in Cabramatta was approved on an extremely constrained site. The site has been vacant for many years as it was considered non-developable land due to many challenges and constraints which we had to overcome to transform the site into developable land: We managed to avoid site amalgamation with neighbouring lots despite requirement in Council’s town centre controls due to limited site access and the site being on a nar...row corner lot on a busy RMS Road. Council originally wanted 45 car spaces for the development but we managed to convince Council for 17 car spaces. We managed to justify the overshadowing issues to the neighbouring properties due to the narrow lot and north orientation. Despite the site being on a corner lot with two street frontages, the site falls away from both streets which makes it very rare and difficult for any development. We managed to overcome drainage easement issues as well as arborist issues. Despite the site being only large enough to fit 1 operation theatre, we managed to have 2 operation theatres approved which makes a huge difference to the client’s business and the property development value. On top of all of this, our design had to comply with Australasian Health Facility Guidelines (AHFG) relating to private hospital for endoscopy procedures. See more
02.01.2022 The NSW Government has announced its first tranche of 24 major projects which will be fast-tracked for assessment under the Planning System Acceleration Program. It includes six schools, a university campus and thousands new housing, including social housing. The criteria for projects to be considered under this fast-tracked assessment include: Jobs - Does the project provide jobs during construction and ongoing? Timing - Can the project commence within 6 months?... 02.01.2022 Great news, the NSW Government is mandating ePlanning across 42 major metropolitan councils from 1 July 2020. The remaining 86 councils will be required to use ePlanning from 1 July 2021. 01.01.2022 Another new generation boarding house DA APPROVED! All approved in less than 4 months! This new generation boarding house consisting of 10 efficient self-contained studios demonstrate if designed correctly and in the right location, the approval process will be faster and smoother. We also managed to overcome stormwater drainage challenges by avoiding easement despite the site falling to the back.
