One of the most important ways we can be healthy is to have a healthy gut microbiome these are the microorganisms in the gut which process the food we eat and so very much more. Have you ever wondered about the expressions: ‘gut feeling’, ‘gut reaction’, ‘gut instinct’? It seems we have understood the connection between the gut and the brain for a long time and also how our gut health can influence our behaviour.
