25.01.2022 A state-wide conference is happening at the ACCKP. The ACCKP is a founding member of the organisation called Aboriginal Culture Heritage and Arts Association.



25.01.2022 It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of our most prominent artists, Mr Milton Budge in Kempsey. Our deepest condolences were conveyed to his partner Kate. Dr Daisy William.

23.01.2022 Day in the Dale at the ACCKP. A day for all age groups.



21.01.2022 Today is Remembrance Day. The staff and the visitors on the Heritage bus observed a minute’s silence at 11am at the Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place. Remembrance Day is a time to remember the honourable Australian service men and women who have suffered and died in wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. Every year on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, we mark this occasion it was at this time and date in 1918 that the guns fell silent on the Western Front, officially ending the First World War.

10.01.2022 What a busy busy day. We had the NSW AECG North West 2 Region AGM as well as briefing about solar panel installations for AHO houses.



08.01.2022 The Aboriginal Cultural Centre & Keeping Place will open three new exhibitions on the 12th September 2019 at 6pm. The first is an exhibition entitled Inspiration which are works by Tania Walker, an Aboriginal artist from Casino.The second, Thunghutti Art is by Tyler Stackman.The third exhibition is a collection of artefacts from ACCKP and Tingha Green Valley collection entitled Aboriginal Instruments of Australia. Delegates of the Aboriginal Culture Heritage and Arts Association conference will also be in attendance at the opening.

08.01.2022 The director is in Glen Innes today for a briefing on Crown Land. Saw many people from the Dale....many friendly faces.

06.01.2022 A great exhibition opening. Members of the Aboriginal Culture Heritage and Arts Association attended this opening along with local community members.

04.01.2022 Aboriginal Men's Group and Aboriginal Women's Group at the ACCKP is funded by Transgrid. Today's function was attended by a special guest Sherrie Castaldini from Transgrid who flew from Sydney to celebrate the Day in the Dale with us.

02.01.2022 Launch of the Elders Group. A talk on Leadership by Elders Lorna Hague and Thelma McCarthy followed by Yoga for Elders led by Chrystal Yee then music by Cyril Green for the Elders' dance.

01.01.2022 What a busy morning we had with walk-in visitors, Friends of the ACCKP morning tea, Walking Club morning tea and the Heritage Bus coming to the Centre all in a span of 2 hours. Well done to the staff pulling together to give visitors the best experience possible.
