24.01.2022 The Snakes have brightened their environment with class plants. Planting and growing, they ensured they had plenty of water and sunlight to grow and thrive. The children showed off their green thumbs and enjoyed getting their hands dirty.

22.01.2022 It was a game of seek in the Kangaroo room this week that really had us thinking. With a colourful treasure map in hand, the children had the task of collecting items that matched the colours shown. Some colours were found all around the room and others were a little more challenging to find.

14.01.2022 The Snakes have been looking at their self-image and their perception of themselves. Using the mirrors to look intensely at the many features that make up their faces, they pulled different expressions, exploring with one another. Using paint and the mirror as our canvas, they followed the lines and contouring of their face to create a self-portrait, adding special features here and there.

05.01.2022 The Bees have been learning about what our community has to offer this week and representing our locale within their room. Through pretend play, they explored a mini Coles, where they were able to do their weekly shop and explore the many varieties of items to buy.

01.01.2022 The Kangaroos have been experimenting with chemical reactions between vinegar and bicarb soda. Hypothesising, the Kangaroos shared similar theories of what may happen. The surprise when the mini volcanos begun to foam bright colours, raising questions and leading to group discussions
