24.01.2022 #BREAKING: Western Australia has recorded three new cases of COVID-19 overnight, all returned Australians from overseas. Premier Mark McGowan said the travelle...rs, including two Western Australians and one person from New South Wales, had arrived from Britain, the Middle East and India. One person had been admitted to hospital, while the other two cases remained in hotel quarantine. Mr McGowan said it served as a reminder of how important the states hotel quarantine system was to protect the state from an outbreak of COVID-19. That just shows that we still have the threat of COVID coming in from overseas and that's why our hotel quarantine system is so important, that it's managed properly and we avoid any spread of the virus into the general community, Mr McGowan said. 22.01.2022 My brothers Mountain bike was stolen from the bike racks at kelmscott senior high school today during school hours. He went to collect after school and found his lock cut he is heart broken as it was his birthday present he had been wanting and only got it 3 months ago, video footage shows an adult male kicking the fence in cutting the lock and riding off. Police have been notified. This is just a heads up our kids belongings are not safe even locked up on school grounds (even though it may be a long shot could every one keep your eyes peeled for a male riding this bike and possibly get a photo so we can pass onto police) This post is from another page
21.01.2022 Please, West Australian supporters, join us tomorrow to remember Strawberry. Strawberry is gone now - she rotted from the inside out. She was kicked and left to... suffer by her puppy farmer as she struggled in labour. But her life is her message, and we can't let it be forgotten. Especially by WA MPs who plan to vote against the upcoming Stop Puppy Farming Bill. This might be the only chance for a long time to get the sale of puppies in pet shops banned in Western Australia. We need you to join us to show your support for Strawberry and these laws. 20.01.2022 Don’t forget to pause tomorrow at Midday to remember the 1,200 Australians each year who lose their lives on our roads for the opening of National Road Safety W...eek. Keep an eye out also on free-to-air television for our ‘Your Speed Is Our Safety’ ads. All three of our ads like the one below will be featured regularly this week, including during the pre-game of the deciding Game Three of the NRL’s State of Origin series. They will also be promoted widely across social media so please help us spread our important message of slowing down through roadwork sites. Your speed is our safety. The TMAA would like to thank the Office for Road Safety, as well as the Northern Territory government, the Tasmanian government and A1 Roadlines for their invaluable support of the ‘Your Speed Is Our Safety’ campaign. #NRSW #DriveSOS

18.01.2022 It's going to be a scorcher today! Please make sure your pets are safe. Here's a few tips: 1. Bring your pets inside, where it's cooler. Even if it's just in th...e laundry area, they'll be more comfortable and you'll know they are safe. 2. Put out extra bowls of water for all your pets. And maybe leave a few bowls of water outside for birds and wildlife - they feel the heat, too. 3. Don't walk your pets in the heat of the day. If you haven't already walked your dog, wait until late this afternoon or early evening, when it's hopefully cooled down a bit. 4. LEAVE YOUR PETS AT HOME! Do not leave pets in hot cars. We know that the temperature inside a car can be 20C or more than the outside temperature - and that can be fatal to dogs in as little as 6 minutes. If you love your mate, leave them at home. 5. Don't forget larger animals, like horses and livestock. Make sure they have plenty of shade, and access to fresh, clean water throughout the day. Please share this post with as many people as possible - together, we can keep our pets safe. If you see a distressed dog in a hot car, report it immediately to the RSPCA Cruelty Hotline on 1300 278 358 (1300 CRUELTY) or call WA Police on 131 444. 18.01.2022 How beautiful? This is the heartwarming moment little James was reunited with his family The three-year-old was found safe and well last night after he went... missing for nearly 12 hours in dense bushland in Yallingup, in WA's south-west. Sergeant Luke Fowler, the officer in charge of the Margaret River area, said the boy was finally found just before 7:00pm by his grandfather and uncle and quickly reunited with his waiting parents. "To see a child reunited with Mum and Dad, cuddled up together on the bed, it was just, look, you couldn't describe the sheer happiness that was on, especially Mum's face," Sergeant Fowler said. "That's something I think I'll always remember. "She was about as happy as I've seen anyone for a long time." Louise Watson, a friend close to the family, said: "Little James is feeling great this morning. He's back to his usual self and his family couldn't be happier." Love a happy ending!
