17.01.2022 VIDEO APPEAL: ARMENIAN-AUSTRALIAN LEADERS ENCOURAGE COMMUNITY TO #KEEPTHEPROMISE FROM 15 JUNE, 2017 http://www.anc.org.au//VIDEO-APPEAL--Armenian-Australian-l... . Leaders of the Armenian-Australian community have filmed a video appeal, encouraging all their constituents to see Armenian Genocide Hollywood epic, The Promise, which opens in movie theatres on Thursday, 15 June, 2017. Members of the Clergy, community political, cultural, relief, sporting and youth organisations have united to articulate the importance of community attendance, especially on the film's opening weekend, to ensure the success of The Promise. They note that the more non-Armenians the community can encourage to see the film will ensure its success, thereby ensuring a wider and longer circulation of The Promise in Australia.
