22.01.2022 Our first show of the year at the Armidale Playhouse will be GRAND OPENING CONCERT. We are hoping to stage this in February as soon as Council approves the Opening of our New Theatre.

19.01.2022 Ready to play Armidale's Playhouse Theatre is open for business. A 10 year labor of love has seen the former school building fully renovated with brand new s...eating and modern technology including light and sound systems. Adam Marshall MP officially opened the theatre earlier this week, and the Armidale Drama and Musical Society is looking forward to the annual Favourite Short series in April.

17.01.2022 Dear All, Another bit of sad news to report. we have also taken the very hard decision to postpone MAMMA MIA until this COVID 19 pandemic has passed. The show will go on, just not as soon as we had planned... Stayed tuned and keep well and look after yourselves. And listen to some ABBA music, great happy songs there!!

12.01.2022 The Armidale Playhouse is coming along a treat, stage was put in at the weekend,,, still a few minor jobs to complete, but"COVID willing", we should be open for business early in the New year.

11.01.2022 MAMMA MIA IS SEEKING MEN! YOU CAN DANCE? YOU CAN JIVE? YOU CAN SING?... (or at least hold a tune!!) The Armidale Drama and Musical Society is seeking men between 16-40 to audition for a role in the ensemble of this smash hit musical. If you can sing and move to a rhythm then you are the man we want! This smash hit musical is packed full of some of the greatest pop hits of all time, Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Knowing Me, Knowing You, The Winner Takes It All, just to name a few! You’d be crazy to miss this once in a lifetime opportunity.
