25.01.2022 Condolences are conveyed to the family of the late RON WHITTON who has sadly passed away. Ron's funeral will be held on Monday 16th November in Armidale at St Peter's Cathedral commencing at 11:00 am followed by a burial at Armidale Lawn Cemetery, RIP

24.01.2022 ** AGM CHANGE OF DATE AND VENUE** Members are advised that the date for the AGM has been changed to Monday 1st February 2021 with the location also changing to the Tattersalls Hotel Armidale in the upstairs function room. The meeting will commence at 5.00pm.... All welcome - new members encouraged.

22.01.2022 Portable Horse Stables is a great sponsor and supporter of the Tamworth HRC and this afternoon saw another of their sponsored teams kick home a winner in the op...ening event. Congratulations to Jamie Donovan and Rachel Walsh on the win of Rippin Good Feelin breaking thru for the geldings first career win at race start eight. The Mr Feelgood-Willshe Rip gelding produced a mile rate of 1.59.7 and payed $17 for the win. Both Rachel and Jamie are displaying great smiles and great Portable Horse Stables insignia. See more

To all who have passed comment re Race 3 today at Tamworth below is an extract from the Stewards Report.: It is no f...ault of the driver - it was an electrical fault that caused the loss of power in the mobile.. "The mobile barrier lost power as the start was effected and as a result the majority of the field was severely checked and the race was stopped shortly thereafter" All horses were examined by the on course veterinarian and passed fit to start. Thanks to our workers who give up their time.

Bathurst trainer Mat Rue has now secured a run in the Final with his pacer Ziggy Rocks after being first emergency. Rue has surrendered his drive behind the Geoff Harding trained Rocknlachlan with Blake Hughes to now take the reins. The race will be run at 8.02 pm tonight.
