21.01.2022 Terry Cooke's new exhibition 7 Billion Blind Mice is now open in our new street level location. We are still in the mall but now we are next to the Courthouse Coffee shop. The drawings in this exhibition are a commentary on the environment. Terry has pulled imagery from many sources yet has created his own unique style. First drawn with pen and ink and then rendered through photoshop, producing a variety of that can be bought framed or unframed. Open wed - Fri 10am - 4pm and Sat 9:30 - 12:30.

13.01.2022 I enjoyed my shift at The Armidale Art Gallery this afternoon and thought I'd share a photo of my paintings in the current exhibition. For me this year needed expressive colour!

11.01.2022 The Hotcakes exhibition is certainly living up to its name. A few travellers have walked away with some lovely bargains yet mostly it is the local community that is supporting this fundraiser for the Gallery. There are still lots of artworks at the extremely reasonable price of $100 available to be purchased. If not for yourself, then a special gift for a loved one or even a Xmas gift could be just the thing..

06.01.2022 Local artist and photographer, Terry Cooke, talks about his creative side and his upcoming exhibitions. Exhibitions 7 Billion Blind Mice and Seasons both open at the Armidale Art Gallery in The Central Mall on 2 October will run for the entire month. Terry tells us that "My Seasons exhibition is focused on local landscape photography it will support the launch of a new crowdfunded book, that is currently with the printers!"... "Some of the drawings in the 7 Billion Blind Mice exhibition are not what people will choose to hang on their lounge room walls however they will hopefully deliver a strong message to the viewer."

04.01.2022 This photograph of Woolloomombi Falls, by Jim Walmsley, headed off to a new home today. The new owners mother had grown up there and he had to take it home once he saw it. Congratulations Jim.
