23.01.2022 First team celebration for the new year!! This is going to be a great weekend.

20.01.2022 WE’RE BACK!!!! It’s been way too long guys... I’ve missed our team so much. I’ll will be running a poll next week to book spots for the first few classes just to make sure we don’t exceed the 20 people limit per class.... Especially for new students and for the guys coming from out of town, please contact me first to book your spot!! But other than that it’s business as usual... Let’s pick up where we left off shall we?? The BJJ powerhouse of Regional NSW is back... (Armidale first, and then Tamworth hopefully from August) Can’t wait!

10.01.2022 First Gradings ceremony and Seminar for 2020! Another huge success . Congratulations to everyone who leveled up, especially our new belt promotions QLD State and Pan Pacs competitors are in for a surprise this year

09.01.2022 - - - - WE ARE CLOSED TEMPORARILY - - - - Following the recent unprecedented events regarding the rapid spread of the Corona Virus, and its imminent impact on local communities and overall health system, we have made the difficult decision to close our ARMIDALE and TAMWORTH schools until further notice. The closure of all classes is now effective (from Wednesday the 18th of March 2020).... The decision has been made with the best interests of our students, coaches, staff members, relatives, friends and the general community at heart. It is important to notice that there have been no known cases at any of the Armidale BJJ schools. Whilst many of our members may not necessarily fall into the high risk infection category, it has become evident for us the need to avoid the close physical contact that Jiu Jitsu involves. This is until a long term course of action is clearly defined by the health authorities. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely as it develops, and will be providing regular updates going forward. During this challenging period ahead of us, we would like to ask that everybody continues to support our schools to the best of their abilities. We have built more than a gym here. Armidale BJJ has become an integral part of our community’s physical and mental health/wellbeing. We will get through this as a family, and will no doubt be back soon on the mats, stronger than ever. 09.01.2022 KIDS CLASSES ARE BACK!! PARENTS AND KIDS, Our kids classes will return for the new school term from Wednesday, 22 July.... Please note the following COVID-19 restrictions that will be in place: - Parents, family members or any spectators WILL NOT be allowed into the gym, strictly students only; - Please make sure your kids come dressed in their gis already, as they will not have access to the dressing room. - All kids will have to go through our temperature checks and hand sanitising procedures before entering the gym; - There will be a restriction in place of no more than 20 students. If we reach the 20 students limit, the kids from the big kids class will not be allowed to join in for the little kids class; - All payments for the school term to be kindly made upfront right at the beginning of the term. Not in the middle of the term, not at the end of the term; - Should the government impose the closure of gyms in NSW again, you will be in credit with your payment for the next school term. - If you have any questions please feel free to contact me directly.
