06.01.2022 A huge thank you to our 2020 Rugby and Netball committee members. It takes an enormous amount of work from our volunteers to ensure our club runs smoothly each year. This year in particular has seen many more challenges for our committee and all those who have helped out during the season. The club would like to acknowledge the contribution of all those who have volunteered on the committee, the coaching staff and those who help out with the running of Rugby and Netball on game days- in the canteen, on the sidelines, manning the gate, at working bees, setting up and packing up, maintaining the fields and many, many other ways through the season! Blues Rugby and Netball would not happen with out you! #oneteamonedream

Thank you for all your time and effort week in and week out during the season and the off-season. We really appreciate all you do! #leadingfromthefront #oneteamonedream #bluesfamily

04.01.2022 Today we honour the memory of LT Michael Fussell, who was killed in action by an improvised explosive device while on foot patrol in Uruzgan province, Afghanist...an, on 27 November 2008. Michael, a 25-year-old 4RAR Commando Officer, was serving with the Special Operations Task Group. Two other SOF soldiers were wounded, their names being withheld. "Michael was a remarkable soldier who was passionate about his role as a Commando and as an Australian soldier, Special Operations Commander for Australia, MAJGEN Tim McOwan, said at the ramp ceremony. "He was incredibly well-liked within the regiment and will be greatly missed by his mates and colleagues" Rest in peace, Michael, and thank you for your service. See more
