13.01.2022 Hi everyone, Thank you all for you continued support. This morning the ABC invited me to talk about Armidale live and the courthouse project. I made it really clear in the interview that the project would be cost neutral to council. Despite that, some detractors immediately sent texts saying that council didn't need the drag of another asset. Let me repeat: COST NEUTRAL to Council. Watch this space for news as it happens.

04.01.2022 Hi patient followers, I recently asked Adam Marshall when the Old Armidale Courthouse was likely to be gifted to the community. Adam has publicly supported this outcome for many years and his response was positive and upbeat but we are not there yet. The wheels of government turn slowly. In order to increase our profile we recently formed a new association, Armidale Live inc. This move allows us to have members and provides us with legal status. The first meeting of Armidale... Live was on 22/11/2020 where Gordon Cope was elected as President, Amy Showell as Secretary and Garry Slocombe as Treasurer. Our immediate need to increase our membership as quickly as possible to show just how passionate the community is about this project. You can now click the signup button and fill out a membership application for Armidale Live. After we change the constitution, membership will be free and so we are not charging a membership fee at this time. As soon as we jump through all the facebook hoops we will be able to accept donations. We'll keep you posted. See more
