24.01.2022 The Men's Shed has regular talks on men's health. These go with our Thursday lunches. This Thursday, we have a talk from a pharmacist on the way we handle medications. Lunch begins at 12.30 and the talk begins at 1pm. If you would like to attend call the shed on 6787 4057.

20.01.2022 Arty Crafty Armidale is with us. We have a schedule of activities for the next two days. All you need to do is come to the shed and you can speak to shed members and experts according to the schedule shown below. At the same time, you will be able to have coffee and lunch for a small charge. We look forward to seeing you there.

18.01.2022 Your opportunity to celebrate the end of the financial year! Come to the Men's Shed on Sunday June 30 for the Open Day Sale at 1.00, or the Jazz Event at 4.00 featuring Ash Hall and his merry band of musicians. Fun, food ad wine all around. The Men's Shed is more that a bunch of old farts playing around in a workshop!!! They are real, friendly people enjoying most of the pleasures of life: making things, having coffee, eating good food, a glass of wine and running Armidale's G20. Most world problems are solved at the shed (so they think). With the fire stoked and the larder stocked, we are ready to join with you for an afternoon of fun and good fellowship.

12.01.2022 Today is the day - Jazz at the shed. Kids, wine and get over for burgers in front of the fire at midday, 215 Mann Street.

10.01.2022 The Men's Shed has just participated in a lamb meat tasting event as part of the UNE meat research program. Sixty people attended yesterday to taste and assess lamb meat samples at the shed. We organised the people, UNE organised the tasting and the Shed earned $1000. The Shed program develops as we progress. Now there are lead-lite glass and woodwork sessions on Saturday mornings for both men and women. This goes with our art on most days while toys and furniture are mad...e and repaired in the workshop. Next is our Christmas party on December 9 commencing with a BBQ at 5pm with the Out West Jazz starting at 6pm. Food, music and wine for $30 at the shed. 09.01.2022 Just 5 days until out next jazz event. 3pm Sunday with friends at the Men's Shed. A glass of wine, tea and coffee and great music - for just $20. The Out West quartet will explain the West style of jazz and play their music. You can relax and enjoy it all with a nice wine or coffee. At the end of the afternoon, some nice food of you choice. What better for spring and the rain!!!!!

09.01.2022 The Men's Shed Christmas party is on Sunday Dec 9 starting at 5pm. Music will be provided by the Out West Jazz group pictured playing at a previous music event.... There will be food, wine, music and lots of fun to celebrate a successful year. Join the members and friends at the Shed on Sunday - call 6787 4057 to help with catering.

06.01.2022 Getting close to our next music/open day at the Men's Shed: This Sunday at midday. The Ash Hall trio will be playing their jazz and food will be available - bring your own wine. We will have a variety of chairs available for viewing along with the art and other shed products. Come along and have a fun!

05.01.2022 PSYCHS ON BIKES are coming on April 6th to the Armidale Men's Shed - on real motor bikes! Who are Psychs on Bikes? These are professional mental health workers who ride to events promoting mental health. They are able to undertake mental health assessments. See: https://www.psychsonbikes.com/ They will be at a BBQ at the Men's Shed on 6th April from 5pm until 8pm ($10 charge for the BBQ).... Members of the Men's Shed, local mental health workers and other families are invited to attend and participate in a discussion of mental health. BYO drinks.

03.01.2022 Music/open day Sunday August 12 at noon. The Tony Elder Trio will be playing their jazz between 12 noon and 3pm. Food will be available - make your own burger from the available ingredients. Music will be $10; burger $5; BYOG The fire will keep us warm, the music will boost morale and the food will nurture us. Come along and join in!... You can also browse the various items available for sale including wooden toys, wood turnings, chairs and other furniture. Talk with the guys and ladies that enjoy the shed facilities and great company.
