24.01.2022 Happy Monday everyone! We have launched X-ray today! Bulkbilled until January 2021!

23.01.2022 We have an exciting new service available ! Due to the community's on going support we have been able to add X-RAY examinations to our current services. We aim to provide an affordable radiology clinic for our community, we are bulk billing ALL X-ray exams until January 1st 2021! ... After that all pensioners and minors will be bulk-billed, all other patients will receive a severely reduced rate to keep the cost of accessing radiology services low. As always we aim to make your experience easy, safe and affordable. We are so excited to be offering this new service to the New England community. 19.01.2022 Its sonography awareness month! Yay! To celebrate and bring awareness to the awesome work that sonographers do here are some fun facts ! Humans cannot hear ultrasound waves as these have a high frequency, but dogs, cats and dolphins can! ... Ultrasound is a form of mechanical energy, not electrical! Ultrasound imaging occurs in a sequence of three stages producing the sound wave, receiving echoes, and finally interpreting those. Ultrasound is safe and has no known side-effects, unlike other imaging methods. Therefore, it’s the most preferred imaging technology in most diagnostic cases. One of the smallest ultrasound transducers is so small that it can fit into a blood vessel. The gel used during an ultrasound is to enable a tighter bond between the skin and the transducer, thus giving a more accurate reading. 07.01.2022 *Armidale Ultrasounds COVID-19 clinic rules update* Due to the recent COVID-19 risks facing our community, and Australia as a whole we ask you to remember the following: Wash your hands, stay home if you are sick and cover your cough and sneezes. Furthermore from today the 18th of March we ask that unless you need physical assistance that you attend your appointment alone.... Obstetric Ultrasounds are limited to one extra person. Kids are welcome as long as they are 100% healthy. If you are sick or experiencing flu like symptoms we ask that you please reschedule your appointment. We are booking our appointments so that there is only one client in attendance in our clinic and no one waiting in the reception to help minimize the spread of any illnesses. Surfaces are wiped down multiple times a day and hand sanitizer is readily available. Thank you for your understanding. Armidale Ultrasound
