This is cover for if you decide that you can't make the payments and need to return the car due to illness or injury. The insurance covers the difference between the car's value and the amount you owe on the loan. The car is returned to the dealer. This policy can be extremely limited and may only cover you for accidental death. For instance, it covers death when a car hits you, but not death as a res...ult of illness and there's a cap on the amount paid.
