20.01.2022 Welcome to The Official Facebook Page of the Army Ants Basketball Team. Established in 2015, the team was brought together from players world wide, including Greece, Mexico, Poland, Italy and Australia. These international signings is major step for the Army Ants to show who they are, and they power that they have to #demolish! Most players have previous experience in the basketball industry, playing for other teams like Make A Swish Foundation but wanted more of a challenge, because they were just too good for their old team and felt as if the rest of the team was letting them down. But rest assure, their new team #ArmyAnts, will demolish and be a new step forward into their success in Basketball. Please like our Facebook page for updates on the success of the team as we are.... 18.01.2022 ANTS WIN! The Ants are off to a flyer! As they were able to secure the victory over cross town rival Make A Swish Foundation. Rory Martell and new recruit Sam Lawless were influential leading the scoring for the Ants. After Jack Laker scored the first points in Ant history, the Ants never dropped the lead, Luke Baniowski cleaned up the glass to lead the team in rebounds. Whilst Lachlan Wilson and Athan Prevenas were influential in play making and dime dishing. George Zorba...s showed MASF what they missed out on with a solid showing. The win was huge for the team who is also still awaiting the on court debut of marquee free agent signing Will Odgers. The team is also excited to announce the signing of Sam Lawless to a full season contract. #goants #antsnation #armyantsarmy

03.01.2022 UNDEFEATED! The Ants flex their muscles and charge out to a 56-36 victory over Past Our Primes. Recruit James Yarnton put up 18 to lead the way, while Sam Lawless put up 16 to help the Ants. Luke Baniowski notched up his first career Double-Double. Lachlan Wilson lead the way in the Assist column dishing out dimes everywhere.... Every team member scored in an absolute team basketball clinic.
