23.01.2022 Helping a mumma isn't telling her what to do! I saw this quote the other day and I thought how fitting is this?! At Bump Physio & Co our approach to treatment isn't about telling you how to fix your body. It's working together, one on one, to find ways to achieve your desired goals and outcomes and to empower each mumma or mumma to be to have the knowledge, tools, skills and insight to feel confident pre and post pregnancy. 16.01.2022 Today is world mental health day! As mums and mums-to-be, it’s incredibly important to look after our mental health. Sometimes it’s doing something as small as taking some time out for a walk, and sometimes we need more help, such as talking to a counsellor It’s not selfish to look after yourself, it’s essential!... Have a lovely weekend everyone

08.01.2022 This is a really great post from Tiny Hearts Education. Make sure you take some time during your pregnancy to plan for after the baby arrives! It’s so easy to get caught up in the excitement of having a baby (and it is always soooo exciting!) but having some strategies in place for coping in the initial stages of parenthood will help when your feeling overwhelmed (and sleep deprived!) Tiny Hearts Education is an Australian small business that provides amazing first aid information for parents. Check out their website and social media for lots of useful tips and tricks.

07.01.2022 8th - 14th November is PANDA (Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Action) week The theme for PANDA Week 2020 is ‘Tell someone who cares’. Did you know that 1 in 5 Mums and 1 in 1 dads experience perinatal (or prenatal) mental health issues?... This year, more than ever it’s vital that expecting and new parents who are struggling know they’re not alone and can reach out for help. And just as importantly, they can know that when they do reach out, they will be supported by those they confide in, whether family members, health professionals, PANDA or other perinatal mental health specialists. If you are experiencing depression or anxiety during your pregnancy, PANDA (www.panda.org.au) has a great range of resources to help. And never forget, the team at Bump Physio are always here if you need a chat!
