23.01.2022 Ok so my beautiful gal pal and mentor has allowed me to share their fringe trim tutorial from when NZ were going through their first lockdown. Thankyou Jen at Morgan & Morgan! There are some great tips here. xxx https://www.facebook.com/watch/

23.01.2022 Ok so now we have had time to ingest the further lockdown, I would like to let you all know I’m thinking of you and Thankyou for all your lovely messages. I will spend some time rescheduling all your appointments over the next few day’s for our projected reopening date. I know it’s long, please, give your fringe trim a crack but try your darn hardest to hold off on colour and just use the root spray to cover your pesky sparkles that will be no doubt well on their wa...y through by now. I have to admit, I really was not expecting a further 6 weeks and I was on complete shock. In my opinion, the ONLY good thing that came from Sunday was that us singles can now finally have a visitor. Things will change a little when we do return but I’ll do a seperate post closer to the time. Please take care, look after yourselves and at the very least, enjoy the start of spring We miss you all so much! Arna, Brierly and Dottie. *EDIT for fringe trimming. Cut a little bit at a time, don’t pull the hair down too much, leave the tension loose and snip into it rather than straight across. And if you have a dog and use thinning scissors on them...... I would get those out too for a wispy fringe. Good luck!

14.01.2022 #arnastyling is 6 years old today! Unfortunately due to COVID we can’t even celebrate but we will be back soon and I’m sure we will make up for it. Thankyou to every single person who has made the salons success possible!

10.01.2022 We are now in week 2 and we are even busier than last week (if that’s even possible) Our bodies are also slowly conditioning back into hairdressers posture (but it still hurts a bit. ) and we really are feeling the love from our clients It’s amazing to see our clients literally bounce into the salon so excited to see us! ... Thankyou for all your patience! Tomorrow we finally reopen our beauty room after a long 8 months!

08.01.2022 Please bare with us! We are trying to get back to everyone as quickly as possible. We have a long list to get through. Please bare with us! We are trying to get back to everyone as quickly as possible. We have a long list to get through.

08.01.2022 So after the shock announcement that hairdressers can reopen, a thousand messages, calls ect and mixed emotions, I really hope we can get back to a form of normality. I’m so grateful that I have amazing clients although I really feel that things in business have changed for ever and we need to learn a new way of life that we don’t quite understand yet. My mental health has shown me how strong it is but my god I feel for those that do not have strong mental health, there’s been some hard times. I feel so lucky and really appreciate that we have beach in our 5k radius as that has been so calming, refreshing and SO much better than residential houses and concrete. Lol I look forward to seeing all my amazing clients again very soon to compare quarantine stage 4 stories and feelings!

05.01.2022 We changed from traditional foils to a beautiful softer look today. #arnastyling #balayage #longhair #rosebudhairdressers #morningtonpeninsulahairdresser
