24.01.2022 *Help needed!!* *WHAT* : Four volunteers to form a new playgroup committee. ... *WHY* : It's a minor commitment but a formality required by Playgroup NSW. *ROLES:* Meeting up with each other for dinner twice a year for a committee meeting, monitoring the Arncliffe Playgroup email to answer queries from new members, collecting and banking the weekly fees and making sure someone is available to open and lock up the venue. *MAKE A DIFFERENCE:* Please put your hand up and support a service that has helped hundreds of local families since 1974. *HOW:* Speak to Jo, Liz, Georgie or Laura. As our kids grow up it's time to hand over the reins to the next generation. We'll still be around to help as you learn the ropes. It's a small ask, but your help will make a huge impact!!

24.01.2022 Anyone keen to attend a playgroup on Wednesdays, 9.30-11.30am? We have a volunteer keen to run one then if there's interest. NB: this will be in addition to the Friday one, 12.30-2.30 that starts this week. If we have a few takers we'll get Wednesdays up and running too :)

22.01.2022 Playgroup is also running on Weds from this week, 9.30-11.30am. If that works for you, come along for a play! Fridays 12.30-2.30pm also up and running now :)

20.01.2022 PLEASE HELP!! Arncliffe Playgroup will shut down as of today if nobody volunteers to open up and lock up for each session. The mums who previously volunteered to run the group have all returned to work and can no-longer attend. Unfortunately, no-one has stepped up to take our place. The group has been running since the 70s thanks to community-minded volunteers passing on the baton through the generations. If you attend anyway, it's a tiny commitment to make, to ensure such a wonderful service stays alive. Please reply or PM with your details. If you're able to help please do- there are so many mums, both now and in the future who will miss out if nobody puts their hand up

16.01.2022 Hi folks - we have someone coming in to clean the room and garden on Thursday 6 Dec 1.30pm. Is anyone free to help either Rhiannon move the toys out of the room in the morning or help Laura and I put them back in in the afternoon? Need two more in the morning and one more in the arvo I reckon.

02.01.2022 And we're back! One lovely mum has put her hand up to run a group on Fridays, 12.30-2.30pm, starting next week. All welcome to join if that day and time suits you. If you're able to attend that day, it would be great if you could offer to help her out where possible. All other days and times are available if anyone else would like to start a session on a day and time that suits them. Just let us know and we'll put the word out!
