25.01.2022 Whats on this week with playgroup victoria....scone making this week on tue and fri cant wait

25.01.2022 Moon sand recipie - 1c flour, oil and food colouring. In a bowl add the flour and oil and mix with your hands till you get a sand like consistency. Add a few drops of food colouring and keep mixing it with your hands. Have fun!

24.01.2022 Hi all, with the new restrictions now in place as of tomorrow midnight for 6 weeks, we will not be going ahead with playgroup for term 3 as we had planned. I will update you all as I know more information. Safe safe and healthy. Thank you.

We are having a bit of a delay start as we are in the process of transitioning over to new leaders as I am taking a step down after many years. 20.01.2022 So Ive just received an email from Playgroup Victoria to say that with the roadmap for Melbourne in place it is highly unlikely we will be meeting again this year. Really sad news as we all never got to say bye. They will continue to run their playgroup at home sessions which we have joined and zalia has a great time doing the different activities. Thy run them every Tue and Fri at 10am and also have other activities on the other days. I encourage you to check out their website www.playgroup.org.au I will do my best to keep you informed if any further changes do occur and by some miracle we can have one last session for 2020 even if its a local park.

19.01.2022 Another great playgroup victoria session this morning. They will be running it next week Tue and Fri at 10am. Both sessions will feature the same story and craft activity. To join all you have to do is visit their website and register and you will get emailed the zoom session login information every week. Today they made animals/insects out of food for their morning tea. Zalia made a butterfly from bread spread with margerine and vegemite, two crackers for the wings, cheese for the antenna's and dots on the body and raisins for the eyes. Have a go at making your own food animal/insect and post it below. Have fun!!

19.01.2022 Update: hope everyone is enjoying this gorgeous weather. So just to let you know about playgroup this year. Unfortunately the community centre is not reopening till next year which means we are unable to meet up there. But we can meet up at a local park near the community centre for one last session for 2020. Ill send an email out to the families once I can confirm a date. Stay safe xx

16.01.2022 Hi families, we did the zoom session with Playgroup Victoria this morning at 10am. It was awesome, Zalia had a great time. Today they made moon sand, sang songs and they read a book. A great session and all you have to do is register your email address before 9am Friday and theyll send you the zoom link to join.

13.01.2022 Just found this shared by a friend of mine. Good things to take note on how to actually wear a mask properly. The times I have been out, the number of people who dont wear it properly is quite astounding. Hope this helps.

13.01.2022 I forgot to post last weeks activity! Zalia made a rain musical instrument using a paper towel tube, foil on both ends sealed with rubber bands and beads put into the tube. She decorated the tube as well and was fun activity to do.

12.01.2022 #playgroupvictoria session this morning!! Snow dough, we used conditioner and cornflour and made a soft dough and it smelt yum. Another fun session! Every Friday 10am to 1030am.
