25.01.2022 Bit of action from a recent trip offshore. Weather like this is hard to take. Video editing is not my stronger suit

25.01.2022 The weather turned it on yesty & the weekend boat traffic dropped off which allowed us to fish a couple spot Xs without being buzzed by boats big & small. We e...ven sent the bird for a fly spotting tuna & theres some good sized fish there that didnt take a lure, check them out in the Drone footage. The Samsons went berko at times with everything in the water getting crunched with a few railings & fish winning their freedom on the reef below(tackle bags a bit lighter again). We managed to land a Coupla Dee-Honkies from amungst the school sized fish. The change in the amount of tuna in one day was amazing with big schools up on the surface all day. 25.01.2022 A good couple days out with these lads, plenty of laughs, good fish & couple big smokings as big fish showed the boys whos boss. Heaps of tuna with some surfac...e action on stick baits & Gavs mini barrel @ 35kg/120cm fork length a highlight. The kings & Samsons played the game taking a mixture of jigs & livies with plenty of 3 way hookups keeping the dancing shoes busy with the odd foot stomp after being bust off. Bring on the good weather for the long weekend. See more

24.01.2022 It was good day on the water yesty & to go for at least 10 hrs without hearing a C word was a real bonus, fishing the best way to forget about life for a whil...e. The morning was tough going with action a little slow but a things fired up in the arvo & as always happens to the boys missed out on holding the Fish of The Day mantle. Some may say Sam had some assistance in winding in this brute but we were just trying to stop her getting pulled overboard. 18.01.2022 Fridge food levels looking a bit sad & the local supermarkets looking even worse? Well it’s time to get out on the water, land yourself a good feed of fresh fi...sh & get some fresh air in the gills. There’s still plenty of fish in the sea & with the weather hopefully taking a turn for the better there’s going plenty of opportunities to jump onboard to fill the pan with some fresh fish. Fishing Charter options vary from inshore whiting/squid trips, trips chasing reefies like nannygai, morwong & shark to the full offshore trips chasing tuna, kings & Samson. All fish will be iced down & filleted once back onshore for your convenience. Some weekends & plenty of weekday spots available When the weather suits. 16.01.2022 This thing was a tank & the look on the face says it all. Gav(who is a big lad 63) with a 30kg+ Tuna & at just over 120cm fork length that converts to 34/35kg on the tuna weight to length scale. From a 3 way hook up it took a Pakula Fluzi in Torro an orange colour. Zzzzzzzz Fish On

15.01.2022 Tuna madness. I Sent the bird for a look at the school of tuna we had a fish hooked up in & with the sun it was hard to see what was going on using an IPhone to... control the drone. Looking at the footage later realizing just how many fish was there I should have filmed some more. Full moon so they were very flighty & not real interested in feeding just up on the surface catching a few rays. We did manage to get a few good fish. See more

The Tuna & Kings come on the bite early with Tuna s...chools up on the surface for most of the day. The Samsons played hard ball only giving us a small window of opportunity in the arbo & we managed a few nice fish & dropped a couple more. See more

15.01.2022 Totally Devastated after witnessing this fish get a trim up bostside by a white pointer. I Love my Samson Fush & get great pleasure seeing them entertaining the... punters then swimming off again to fight another day. It didnt go to waste though bound for the smoker along with a smaller bro who got the similar treatment. Some BIG boys around at the moment. See more

14.01.2022 Meet Frank the Tank Theyre both battle weary as John struggles big time hold this fish after a full on offshore tug of war(picking it up by himself was not a...n option) & Frank needed the release weight to get back down to the depths to fight another day after a few happy snaps. It took all the drag of the whopper stopper Stella loaded with 80lb to put the brakes on this offshore thug. A Great fish mate well done. #FrankTheTank See more

13.01.2022 The cheats way to do Lightly Seasoned Crumbed King George Whiting it’s my favorite recipe today(it may change next week) Works well on all fish & squid aswell i...f you add a little chilli & garlic before the fish mix, give it a go A Bit of social distancing over the weekend in the boat @Arno Bay got me some of these tasty fellas. Crumbed up for the next few days to chew on. Ps. I’m not self isolating just dribbling crap. See more

07.01.2022 What better way to spend Australia Day than fishing offshore when the weathers like this. The lads got a good taste of the offshore action with millions of tuna... to choose from with Samsons & kings chucked in for a bit of fun. Tuna where taking every lure put in front of them & we got plenty of multiple hook ups, some strikes right at the back of the boat as lures were being let out. The Samsons took a little bit more to hunt down slamming jigs & live baits with a few big fish finding their freedom on the reef below really showing whos boss. The kings just turned up randomly with rat kings around the boat every time we pulled up to land a fish with few bigger models showing up aswell. Cant wait for the next weather window to have another crack at landing the big ones that got away. See more

07.01.2022 The Offshore action from Lower Eyre Peninsula is still going Berko with a mixed bag of Samson, Tuna & Kingfush willing to play the game. Once again multiple hoo...kups got the dancing shoes working over time & the lads got through with minimal tangles & the odd lost fish. Recapture of a tagged 125cm Samson is always a highlight, cant wait to see where it came from, tag looked pretty fresh. Sore arms & big smiles all round.
