23.01.2022 TO ALL OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS COLLECTING CHRISTMAS ORDERS As you would know, this week is going to be extremely busy in the shop. Please be patient when collecting your order and it would be appreciated if orders can be collected after 10:30am each day. A reminder that due to Covid rules there are only 2 customers allowed in the shop at the one time.

21.01.2022 Congratulations to us!!! Earlier in the year when our Bacon was entered into the PorkMark awards so was our Ham. We are so proud to announce out of 140 Ham on the Bone entrants we came 3rd in Victoria and the only country butcher to receive a place. With Christmas just around the corner what would be more perfect than our award winning Hams on the Christmas table. Our Ham on the Bone also received 2nd in Victoria in 2017 & 2018 at the AMIC Sausage King State Awards. And don't forget our Boneless Ham judged the best in Victoria in 2017 & 2018 through the AMIC Sausage King State Awards. Our Christmas brochures will be in next week's mail.

Earlier this week we entered our Regional Sausage King Competition for the North West Region and yesterday we found out how we went 1st - Ham on the Bone... 1st - Traditional BBQ sausage 1st - Thai Chicken sausage 1st - Cold Smoked Beef Burge 1st - Cheese Kransky 2nd - Boneless ham 2nd - Italian Casalinga sausage 2nd - Thai Chicken & Coconut Burger 2nd - Beef kabana 2nd - Strasburg We are off to the State finals in October to compete against the winners of the other regions!! Congratulations to Steel's Butchers on their wins as well.

15.01.2022 Earlier this year we decided to enter our shortcut bacon into the Australian Pork awards. The competition shines a light on smallgoods makers who are using 100% Australian Pork to produce their bacon. We are so proud to announce out of 155 butchers in Victoria we placed 2nd!! Congratulations to all the winners. Come in and get some bacon to celebrate International bacon day on Saturday 31st August 2019

05.01.2022 JUST TO CLARIFY OUR PREVIOUS POST DUE TO SOME CONFUSION We are open every other Saturday not listed on the previous post between now and Christmas. Our Christmas orders are not closed off. That was for our farmers who send their private lamb, pigs and cattle in for us to process. Our customers in our surrounding area will receive a Christmas brochure in the mail in the next few weeks with a Christmas order form attached
