10.01.2022 Last night we celebrated Halloween for the first time and went trick/treating. I’ve always been torn about Halloween for a few reasons: Commercialisation ... Accepting lollies off strangers An American tradition What goes up must come down (sugar overload) My boys have always wanted to join in the fun and I’ll tell you what I’m never missing another Halloween again. The smiles on their faces and excitement will never leave me. What my children gained: Gratitude Appreciation Fun, laughter and a belly full of Candy (Bodhi-4 has become American and refers to lollies as candy ) Eastern View Estate you put on a show and made the kids and this Mumma so happy. Christmas and Easter didn’t begin in Australia and these traditions make my kids super happy so if Halloween will enrich their childhood memories I’m all in!!!!
