What better way to end your weekend with a nice bath to ease tension and relax?... Our 7 steps for making the most of your relaxing bath time: GATHER SUPPLIES Your candles , essential oils, luxe bath milk (coming soon to Arome), music player, PJs and robe..... ADD YOUR ESSENTIAL OIL I love lavender, chamomile or rose . Did you know that you shouldnt add essential oils direct to your bath water? For a gloriously aromatic bath done right add 6-12 drops of essential oil to a tablespoon of carrier oil (think jojoba, coconut or olive oil) and stir the mix to circulate. Add AFTER you have turned your running water off. Do not pour the mix into the hot running water - by doing so your oils will escape your bath only resulting in a wonderfully scented bathroom. WARM IS BEST A warm bath, rather than hot is recommended. MUSIC & CANDLES Find some relaxing, positive and calming tunes to unwind to whilst watching the gentle flicker of your candles. 12.01.2022 R E S E T First up - this is a looonnnggggg post, so I’ll forgive you if TL;DR (apparently that’s a thing - Too long; Didn’t read ) In aiming for the perfect candle, chandlers concern themselves with many things, one being Reset - the appearance of how the candle resets after a burn. People are the same - how we adjust, perform, continue on and RESET after adversity or a burn... This TL;DR post is about a RESET, my RESET and how this inspirational woman @turiapitt has blown my mind I caught a glimpse of an interview with Turia the other day and wowsers - 3 little words changed how I have started to look at things I, like so many, get very little time nowadays for ME time (and candle making time ) and resentment builds and tbh it makes for a grumpy Amy (especially when the rest of the fam is breaking new weekly screen time records )... I HAVE TO do the housework, strip the beds, wash, iron, clean the toilet misses (I live with 3 men ) etc etc I HAVE TO food shop, menu plan and cook the evening meal most nights (getting a night off when SO wants a steak at the local ) and cleanup afterwards forgoing comfy spot on the couch I HAVE TO raise my 2 wonderful and tricky teenage boys I HAVE TO then work in the evenings to keep up with day job (running own business) I HAVE TO I HAVE TO I HAVE TO BUT in walks (runs) Turia and her 3 little words.... I GET TO and we have a RESET liftoff I GET TO do all those things I GET TO clean a house because I have one to clean and have a family that I can care for I GET TO cook and prepare nice meals for my family to share and come together to enjoy together I GET TO raise my 2 wonderful and tricky teenage boys - some never know the blessing of having children for they can’t have children, or they can no longer hold their babies I GET TO work on a business that I want to build and be successful I GET TO because I have people I love, I’m in good (enough) health (could lose a few kilos mmmm chocolate , sorry mind wander) and have the means to provide for my family (one powerball wouldn’t go astray though) Try it, you might like it

12.01.2022 Donating for a good cause Our #arome goodies dropped off at Red Roof Bar & Grill (where youll find us most weeks - once or twice ) As (relatively recent) #Bullsbrook locals it was terrible to hear that one of our volunteer firefighters had been badly injured whilst helping out someone in need. He has a long road to recovery (12+ months) and our local pub is holding a quiz night this Saturday night to raise much needed assistance for Chris and his family....
