24.01.2022 Station Hand Job Opportunity Mt Leonard Station is situated in the heart of the Channel Country, 220kms west of Windorah and 170kms east of Birdsville. We are a breeding and fattening depot with carrying capacity of 11000 head. We are a privately-owned company seeking a motivated station hand to join our energetic team.... Excellent single air-conditioned ensuite rooms available with all meals provided. Ability to operate two-wheeler motorbike is preferred. Motor vehicle licence is preferred. Must be fit, hardworking, reliable and able to work well as part of a team and ready to start work now. Duties include, but not limited to, all aspects of cattle work (mustering, branding, drafting etc.), water infrastructure / maintenance, fencing, and vehicle maintenance. Staff will be expected to camp out. Award wages are paid and will depend on experience. Whilst we are isolated, staff will have most weekends off when not busy, allowing staff to attend local social events. Own vehicle is preferred. NO DOGS.
