25.01.2022 With calving season in full swing, we are welcoming the gorgeous calves from our amazing bull Red Masterplan. One of the best, but little known traits of the red angus is that they are wonderful mothers who just love their babies and look after them so well. A few more to go yet, but looking like another year with 100% calving rate.

22.01.2022 We sold Arrawidgee L3 who has been a major part of our breeding program over the last two years as one of our stud bulls to Peter at Portland. What a lucky boy he is going to such good paddock which still has green grass.

20.01.2022 Meet our new heifer bull. He is a young bull and one of the Henry sons from Hicks Beef at Holbrook. Apparently Young Henry will have such low birthweight calves that we can go on holidays during calving season.

18.01.2022 While Kimberley was calving the Murray River came up and she got cut off from the rest of the herd. Today we cut the fence and walked her and her five day old calf around through the forest, through the water and back to the other cows. She's another happy cow now.

16.01.2022 Bulls for sale This is Geronamo. He will be 4 in august. He is simply senational. He produces excellent low birthweight calves with practically no intervention. He has also produced one set of twins. He is very long in his body and as with all our cattle, has a very good temperament. He has excellent feet.... We have used Geronomo for 2 years but is also now too closely related. We are asking $3000.00 for this one. Janet 0425 820 802

16.01.2022 What a great start to our calving season with another set of twins born on Saturday. They were totally unexpected, however we have another couple of cows who may be candidates for twins as they are HUGE!!!

14.01.2022 Even before our first calf hit the ground, we are super excited with the arrival of our new stud sire. TWD M01 (Red Masterplan) is only 18 months old and has genetics from Red Fine Line Mulberry and Goondoola Miss D G02 incorporating Tullatoola. We will have some seriously good calves ahead.

14.01.2022 Krystal is the calf on the left in our home page, she is now all grown up and expecting her first calf any day. She is just beautiful and still one of our favourites.

14.01.2022 The girls certainly enjoyed their green patch of lucerne recently. Shame it didn't last long. They certainly don't need too much, they're all fat enough.

12.01.2022 These are some of our cute little calves from Arrawidgee L3, one of our own bulls. We had a wonderful calving season with 3 sets of twins, over 100% calving rate.

10.01.2022 With calving season done and dusted, these twin bull calves born recently are doing really well. This year we had 27 live and healthy calves, all without any assistance whatsoever. Near perfect result.

10.01.2022 Our new herd sire arrived yesterday. K31 and L3 will be the start of the next generation of Arrawidgee calves. Cracken is keeping his eye on them all.

08.01.2022 Arrawidgee Red Angus have recently relocated to Brimin on the banks of the beautiful Murray River between Rutherglen and Bundalong. With such a dry season we are lucky to keep our little herd intact with around 48 calves due this year. Four to go and they are growing so quickly.

04.01.2022 These are some of our new heifers. Just got brand new ear tags yesterday. Thanks to Trent Taylor and Sally Taylor and family for their help.

02.01.2022 Bulls for sale This is Ernie. He is almost 6. We used him for two years but is now also too closely related to our cows. He has produced some ripping calves and almost all have been without intervention, I think the only one was backwards.... He is from Te Mania Red Label Z1023. His feet are very good. Ernie's such a good boy, no trouble at all. He is way too good for Hungry Jacks and would be an asset to any commercial herd. We are asking $2500.00. Janet 0425820802
