16.01.2022 This job was one close to my heart. For one, its my home and secondly its my design and vision. Reclaimed red/blue solid bricks, textured render and neutral colours transformed my house from a Greek look to an English theme with hints of Melbourne heritage. We love the outcome. 16.01.2022 Pics from one of the latest builds. Reinforced retaining walls for some plantar boxes with feature brick pier caps and corbeled header. Core filled, with ag pipe for drainage lots of reinforcement bar, this will go no where and adds so much character to the house.

09.01.2022 A few snaps from our latest build. We are also building the house next door as the builder says none of their other bricklayers can match our quality. Great morale booster for the team. I also got some very positive comments from the building inspector. All in all, very proud to be a part of arris bricklaying. Simm Hndal

09.01.2022 Mitred sills with 20mm fall. To be topped by timber cladding. Nice 10mm join all the way through the mitre. Ive never seen this done correctly in Australia, apart from on my own jobs. Contact us for any advanced brickwork.

08.01.2022 Simple Single storey in Thornhill Park. Red bricks with blue/black features seem to be a popular choice from people picking their own home. Its not my taste but its quite nice.

08.01.2022 So this is the polar opposite of my last post. These bricks are a hand made pressed clay. Made to original designs but then switched up with a modern colour. We roll jointed These edge to edge to keep the character of the brick and let it do its own talking. Finished product will be up here when the house is complete.

05.01.2022 Latest build in my own garden. Rustic timber and charcoal store for our wood fire and outdoor grills. Pictures from start to finish. Reclaimed red/blues, White cement, weather struck pointing.

05.01.2022 Final finish on Industrial Austral bricks using white mud. After an initial round iron joint the wall is brushed and then re jointed using the top of the bricks as a straight line guide. This hides any imperfection in the making of the bricks and gives a false impression of a relatively straight bed joint.
