Played 22 NRL games between 2005 & 2007 NSW premier league premiership with Sydney Roosters in 2006 HEAD COACH of Tonga in the 2013 Rugby League World Cup Committed Christian pastor and youth pastor Assistant Coach of Victoria Thunderbolts SG Ball team in 2019 (& 2020) We look forward to all the amazing value you will bring to our club in 2021 and beyond.

Training at Bruce Comben Reserve back for selected teams this Tuesday 2nd of June We have very strict guidelines from the state government so please bring your own water bottle and if you have hand sanitizer please feel free to bring along... All teams will have sanitizer at each training zone. 5.30pm - Under 12s, Under 14s and Under 16s 7.00pm - Under 15s & Senior Mens All other international teams will be back on Thursday. This is the next step before an imminent return to play in the next 4-6 weeks or so. ... https://www.premier.vic.gov.au/statement-from-the-premier-/ Key details from todays announcement that affects Rugby League: - Under 18s and younger are permitted by government to conduct full contact training AND commence competitions from next Monday 22 June - Open age group / Seniors are permitted by government to conduct full contact training from Monday 13 July - Open age group / Senior are permitted by government to commence competitions from Monday 20 July This means our next phase of training will be as follows: - Training zones to be lifted as of 23rd of June - Under 6s-10s to start training on 25th of June - Under 6s-17s can do Full contact training on 23rd of June

12.01.2022 We are incredibly excited to announce publicly that Altona Roosters have been apart of Hobsons bay City Councils planning process in the proposed redevelopment of Bruce Comben Reserve. In 2019 our club had incredible growth in numbers, the redevelopment of our home will not only provide an amazing new sports and aquatic centre for the community, but will also allow us to grow our club and the game of rugby league for many years to come. We have been involved in every step... of the process to ensure that our club has everything we need to service our members and continue to grow in future years. The plan consists of 4 full size rugby league fields as well as added car parking. We encourage all of our member to hit the link below to have your say in the next stage of planning for this facility. 08.01.2022 #covidsafe Training update from NRL Victoria What is confirmed as of today Monday 22 June: ... Under 18s and younger -permitted to conduct full contact training - no restrictions on numbers per group - no restrictions no numbers per field/venue or groups per field/venue - full use of all equipment - only persons above 18 permitted on training field are required staff to conduct training - continue good hygiene practices 18 years and over - current restrictions apply - non-contact training only must keep minimum 1.5m distance apart - training in groups not exceeding 20 - maximum number of groups of 2 per Rugby League playing field - only footballs and cones permitted to be used - continue good hygiene practices - restrictions to ease on July 13 with full contact permitted after this date Facilities - Local council requirements override any of below if different - Spectators limited to public gathering restrictions currently only 10 persons per venue and must maintain 1.5m distance - Communal facilities including changerooms permitted to be used - Canteen facilities permitted to be open with unlimited take away - Indoor club room only permitted to be used if providing food service and comply with same requirements cafes/restaurants meet 1 person per 4 square metres, maximum of 20. Hotspots - Advice is that training can still occur in locations that were publicised as hotspots this is only current advice and is subject to change - HOWEVER check with council first if unsure, some councils may prohibit or place conditions Waivers - NRL Victoria has provided advice from insurer to all clubs regarding Professional Indemnity and Public Liability coverage during this period if you do not have this please let me know. - This notification from insurer provides coverage and protection to all volunteers and therefore waivers are not required. - Coverage does not apply if volunteers are negligent in using reasonable endeavours or blatantly ignoring requirements in which case a waiver would not be sufficient to avoid any action.
08.01.2022 ***UPDATE*** Key quote from this update from the department of sport and recreation: "Spectators for outdoor training and competitions must abide by gathering restrictions spectators should be in groups of no more than 10 and spread out around the ground or venue. The group of 10 does not include those necessary for the activity to occur, such as the umpire or trainer and a parent or carer supporting a person with a disability to participate"... Please, everyone abide by these restrictions and do our best to stay #covidsafe

Cherneka has a professional record of 13-0-0 with 6 by KO. ... We decided to get Neeks on board to help inspire young women to be the best athletes they can be.
