20.01.2022 #transformationtuesday Everyone talks about physical transformation but today I want to talk about internal transformation. For the first time in my life I can genuinely say I’m proud and happy of where I am & who I am. I use to always compare myself to others and feel inadequate or think I’ll be happy if/when - I’m 5kg lighter, I have this job, I get that (insert material item) and the list goes on. ... The reality is even if you get those physical or materialistic things there will always be something else. My goal this year was to focus on doing one small thing everyday that makes me feel good! Somedays it’s simple letting that idiot flying up the outside lane merge in traffic without getting frustrated at them or drinking my green drink first thing in the morning. 13.01.2022 #workoutwednesday In my last post I opened up to you about my roller coaster ride with mental wellness. It’s definitely not easy to talk about let alone publicly broadcast on social media. I’ve had an overwhelming amount of positive feedback with a number of people asking me what changed. And I have to say that one of the main contributing factors to where I am now is- physical activity! I now incorporate it into my daily life.... That doesn’t mean I hit the gym and train 7 days a week. I train 3-4 times a week and on the other days it simply means getting outside and going for a 30-40 minute walk. The sun and fresh air is nature’s medicine. Honestly, being physically active on a daily basis will change your life. The fog will lift, you’ll be able to think clearer and have more energy. See more
13.01.2022 Doing something is better than nothing! I use to think that if I was going to exercise it had to be hard and sweaty/ all or nothing, otherwise what was the point. I now realise this was just an excuse and far from the truth. Getting out and doing physical activity everyday has changed my life. I feel like I’m better at coping with life’s challenges, I can think more clearly, my outlook is more positive, I have more energy and I feel amazing inside and out. When I have no ti...me or I’m too stressed, I actively remind myself how much better I feel after exercise. 11.01.2022 This view totally makes getting up early worth every moment. I had a bad day today - lots of cake, no lunch/worked through lunch, no physical activity, sat at my desk all day I could give you a million excuses why - too busy, stressed, tired blah blah blah.... But at the end of the day the real reason is - I didn’t prioritise myself! I didn’t plan and make time for me. You have to make time for YOU every day regardless. Otherwise you end up back in the same old cycle.... Everyday is a new beginning. So regardless of what happened today when you wake up in the morning you get to start with a clean slate. One bad day or even week isn’t an excuse to give up and throw away all the hard work you’ve done up until now. 11.01.2022 Why are some days sooo much harder than others The last couple of weeks I have completely struggled with finding the motivation to get my arse moving. And when it comes to food it’s quiet simple really - if you fuel your body with crap you feel shit, fuel your body with wholesome fresh produce you feel good. And how good does it feel going to the Farmers markets and walking out with a basket full of fresh produce straight from the farm... Does anyone else get over excited and buy way more fresh fruit and veg than is needed? And I’m not going to lie. Whether it’s a social catch up or about work, have your conversation on the move. When organising to catch up with friends I alway...s suggest doing it over a walk. When you know someone is going to be waiting for you, it helps with motivation, makes moving more fun & trust me when I say this instead of 10 minutes feeling like an hour, an hour will only seem like 10 minutes especially with mates like mine Make physical activity a priority by making time for it every day, just as you make time to sit here on social media and read this or watch the latest trending series on Netflix If you sit all day at work ask your boss for a stand up desk. 05.01.2022 #transformationtuesday From the age 25 - 31 I struggled massively with anxiety and depression. Trying to figure out who I am, what my purpose is, what I want out of life. It’s a funny age because your not a kid/teenager any more, yet your life experience is still limited. And then all of the sudden you blink your eyes, your 30 years old and meant to have your shit together!... There are these unspoken expectations that by this age you have a respectable career, house, husband, kids..... You avoid having a 30th because in your eyes you haven’t ticked any of the boxes thus feel there is no cause for celebration. Cue the depression- You feel ashamed and some what of a failure at life. And to top it off the anxiety then kicks! You get a reality check and it ain’t looking so good. You realise your getting old, your biological clock is ticking, you can’t stop thinking about babies (literally 24/7- what will you call them, how many will you have, planning conception dates so as to ensure you don’t have a Leo ) BUT there are a couple of minor problems. You don’t have a partner, let alone being married, that stellar career you planned hasn’t taken off yet, that dream home you thought you would have by now is far from reach because you are still leaving paycheque to paycheque. And then it happens...... I just want to let you know - One day you will wake up and realise everything is perfect just the way it is. Every inch of you is perfect just the way you are. You’ll forget the past and stop worrying about the future. You will let go expectations and start to live your life! See more

We never regret the things we do, only the opportunities missed and things we didn’t do or say. So start backing yourself and do what you want to do, do what makes you happy and believe in you!
