23.01.2022 Today is the International Day of the Girl. Today we want to give you an idea of some of the ladies and girls we support in this sport. There are many more - this is just a sample. If you are a girl or a woman who has thought about archery but weren't sure whether you would fit in - think again. We are here to support and help you. We asked the question of these ladies and girls of what archery means to them. We got some great responses:... Archery means quiet, focus, and a break from the busy world. It means calm and a time just for myself. Archery makes me unstoppable, because it makes me stop! It makes me stop, breathe and be present, mindful and focused - all the skills I need to be unstoppable in the rest of my life! Archery brings focus, determination and goal setting to a fine edge. It teaches my daughter that she is powerful. It teaches me that I belong with the strong women I’m lucky enough to shoot with. I love that this is a sport I can enjoy with my family, playing together. I cannot usually be still or meditate so this is the most centred someone with ADHD gets. Archery helps me feel: Focussed and fascinated. How does archery make you feel?

22.01.2022 Hi all, well we are back up and running from tomorrow (28 October 2020). Only the shop and workshop at the moment but hopefully the range in a couple of weeks. We are running modified hours this week - 12noon - 6pm daily - while we get our feet back on the ground. So give us a call or pop in for all your archery needs. All things going well, we will open up for range bookings next week - with expected opening of the range being 9 November 2020. We will also be in touc...h with all those who are on our waiting list for courses etc. Let's hope that this time we stay open. We will be operating in a COVID Safe way so please abide by the rules. 15.01.2022 A quiet first day back. Thanks to those who popped in to say hello and welcome us back. As advised we are open this week between 12noon and 6pm. Hopefully this time we stay open. Looking forward to being able to open up the range and get everyone back to our fabulous community.

15.01.2022 Great news today - we may well be able to open the retail side of the business on Wednesday with the indoor range possibly being open as early as 8 Nov 20 (no guarantees there though). For the first week or so we will be working modified hours (12noon - 6pm each day) while we get our feet back on the ground. Will keep you posted on what is happening.

12.01.2022 Hi all, the sun is up and it is a new day. Time for some new adventures. We have finalised our schedule for our OzBow Archery Instruction courses for the first half of next year and enrolments are now open. This course is designed to teach you the basic components of archery and provide you with an opportunity to get familiar with this amazing sport. The courses go for 4 weeks and we have various times available throughout the week and weekends. This is also a great p...resent for that someone in your life who is always talking about doing archery - but hasn't yet done anything about it. You know the one. With Christmas just around the corner we can this could make the perfect gift. 08.01.2022 Good evening all, hope you have had a great long weekend. Thanks to Michele for telling me, on Thursday, that it was a long weekend - lol. Wouldn't have known otherwise - seem to be losing track of time (is that a sign of old age?). I have a request for all of you lovely people. At Arrows Plus we like to set ourselves challenges and goals. As you know our major aim is all about building community. We want to build a beautiful, supportive and strong community who hav...e archery as a common interest. Our current goal is to expand our community on Facebook. We would love to get to 3,000 likes on Facebook so we can share and build our community and help people find an interest and stay healthy and active. We are asking all of you to tag one or two friends who you think would enjoy being part of our community and ask them to like our page. If everyone does that we will be at our target of 3,000 in no time at all. They don't even have to actually do archery - they can just enjoy our positive and wonderful community and share in our joy in life. Get tagging everyone - I know we can do it.

05.01.2022 It is time to get our 2021 on...... . Enrolments are now open for our Kids Club Term 1 2021 program. Kids Club is designed for 8 - 12 year olds who want to learn about archery and have a lot of fun doing it. We learn some techniques, we do some scoring and track our progress and we also play lots of games. With small class sizes of 7 or 8 kids it is a lot of fun and the kids get individual attention. For those who have previously done this program please be aware that we have done a review and there has been changes in days and times. Enrol your children now or get more information. 01.01.2022 Hi all, hope you are safe and well. It is looking brighter for us here in Melbourne but it is still a long road to go. At this stage it is not likely that we will be able to run our Term 4 Kids Club program but we are working hard on a revamp for Term 1 2021 and we are also working on a School Holiday program over the Christmas and New Year period. We so miss our Kids Clubbers. We are also working on a program to fast track our OzBow courses as we have a waiting list and ...want to make sure no-one misses out. When we can open our range again we will be looking to provide wider optionws to allow us to catch up on these programs. Our coaches have also been undertaking some professional development and are keen to pass on this additional knowledge to you. Although we do have a backlog we are also happy to put anyone else on our waiting list. Just get in touch and we will add you in. In the meantime, if you have any equipment needs or want some advice please feel free to get in touch.
