19.01.2022 I particuly want to thanks and give a huge pat on the back to the awesome team I (Brigitte)have had the privelage to work with :Kathy and Rowan, Jasmin and familly,Jade, Micheal, Kerry and Dean, Robyn,Neville,Leanie,Wendy,and thanks Ben for holding the ladder,beeing patient with me and looking after the kids ,and also Sylvia and Amy ....Am I forgeting anyone? Oh yeah also thanks to our Photographer Ann and Zebedy... Ssso much dedication and many volonteered hours and sweat have been a great success....

12.01.2022 The very frustrated and hard working Management Committee of the Mechanics Institute is having a last push at tomorrow night's Council meeting, for BMCC to finally take notice of their recommendation to get rid of the 35 limit on the theatre. They have been trying for around two years now to get this lifted but Council haven't taken any notice of their own Committee. It would be great if you can show your support and make it to the Council Meeting tomorrow at 7.30pm Tuesday 2...5th June at the Council Chambers, 2 Civic Place, Katoomba. If the red tape isn't dropped at this meeting it is likely to go on for years to come. Please don't forget to send an email to the Councillors via the email addresses below. Thanks for your support!
