22.01.2022 We've got a little project going on the side at art class. It called 'Post-it Note Art'! This is so they can practice drawing their patterns, composition and colours. It really makes them think about these things. Very fun! You can easily make on of these at home too.

20.01.2022 With Valentine's day just around the corner we did a colour wheel exercise this week using a lovely big heart. We finished the class with a big group shot ... group hug. <3

13.01.2022 You would think these were straight out of the gallery of modern art!! This week we made 3D Abstract Sculptures. All different and fantastic. So creative!

13.01.2022 Then you peel off the dry tissue paper and see the pattern left on your portrait. Beautiful!

12.01.2022 Hello everyone! It's been awhile. I was wondering if anyone would like their child's painting below from when they were at Art Classes? I'm running out of space fast in the art room (must work on smaller canvases!) so wondered if you would like these up in your homes? If several of the kids would like the one I'm sure we can sort something out. Please comment below if you are interested. Thank you!

12.01.2022 Week 1, 2015 class! We studied one point perspective drawing today. It's tricky and a great skill to have. The girls did a great job. Love the results. Check them out!

09.01.2022 This week in art class we were inspired by Paul Klee's painting 'Ancient Harmony'. It was an exercise in light and dark colours and therefore, warm and cool colours. They look amazing! The kids worked really hard to achieve these results especially at randomly placing colours. That is actually quite hard to do.

01.01.2022 Hello!!! I miss you all so much and making art together! I thought I'd share some ways to keep the art going with your kids if they are interested. I don't know about you but I've noticed a real shift in Sophia's work and the amount of time she spends on 'art', insert sad face here for the amount of time on art now. Ipads have taken over a little too much for my liking. So I'll post bits and bobs that might be of interest from time to time. Firstly .. start following this lovely lady.
