Here are couple of pics from our trip to the Yasawas, specifically Nacula & Nanuya Balavau Islands. ... I love the way sketching so often builds connections with people around us. This lovely woman was watching me sketch the view while she worked. I offered her pen and paper and encouraged her to try. I watched on as she slowly, calmly sketched the hibiscus. When finished, she held the open page to her chest. She closed her eyes and a tear rolled down her cheek... Yes, like all the best Zoom sessions we sometimes forget to unmute, pets join in at no extra cost and we have learned to embrace unexpected interruptions.
